We live in Charleston, IL, but we’re not a local band.
We burn up about 80 stages all around the Midwest every year, so it’s becoming rarer and rarer that we play here. But on Blackout Wednesday (11/22), we are bringing our scintillating live show to The Uptowner. It will be your only opportunity to catch us in Charleston until June 2024. We have two hot club sets planned for you with the second one being our next record “Ivy” in its entirety. We love these songs dearly. They will paint glorious pictures in your mind while your body shakes, shimmies, and taps into its under-nourished hedonistic streak. LadyKat (also an original, club-set kinda band) opens up the night at 8 p.m. Winter is coming, Thanksgiving is weird, let’s get weirder.

The debut LP for is pressed, stuffed, and ready to be released at a special matinee show (1-4 p.m.) Sunday, June 26 at Bay Bar in Lockport, IL. This is a special disc made by this father/son duo that is part jump blues, part haunted folk, and a sprinkling of acoustic prog. Catchy, thoughtful tunes with two musicians absolutely locked in together on acoustics, electrics, and a bowling ball of an upright bass. It's an amazing listen start to finish, all tracked together in a room direct to tape /mixed to open reel through many many tubes and cut in glorious monaural. This record release has some special surprises as label mates will be joining them close out the matinee release with .mike.3 in the opening slot.
