Callie left this morning to meet her boyfriend in QLD. Iāve had a virus the last few days and thought I was doing really well but realised I was just running on the adrenaline of her going.
The moment she left, I came inside and slept for over two hours. Itās so strange not having her here, nickering for lollies over my back gate and giving everyone heaps. Spartan keeps calling for her and doesnāt quite understand why she has disappeared š
Callie is in good hands for the next couple of months while we wait for the next chapter of her life as a mum to start. While this is so difficult for me to not have her here, this is her time now š«¶
In true Callie form, she got excited to see a truck as she loves to travel and was quite annoyed that there wasnāt a haynet in there to munch on and immediately told both horses on each side off before pawing at the ground to tell the driver to get on with things š

Itās never too late to start that thing! It took me until I was 42 to start riding lessons. At 46 I won my first National Title. At 46 I started my own business and I will make it too! Itās never too late! Kamila š«¶

Whoās heading to work tomorrow?
I used to trade up to 60hrs a week for an hourly rate that was capped by an award. I traded time for money. Time with my kids. Time with my horses. Time on my farm. Thereās definitely more to life than this!
Once I dropped the belief that I was only worth $40p/h and looked deeper for a solution, things started to change for me!
