What is the CEC (Centre for Enterprise and Communication) Media Lab about?
- To be a central hub that provides realistic opportunities and exposure for students to experience the challenges found in the industry
- To enhance knowledge and skills learned through Diploma in Mass Communication curriculum
- Provide real time journalistic/PR and Marketing Communication environment for studen
ts and inspire hands on experience
- Grooming and delivering industry ready professionals
- Creating a strong portal of projects and establishing a solid network with the industry
2. There are 3 different clusters at the Media Lab:
- Journalism – Work on story assignments based on lifestyle, community, technology and reviews as well as design and layout of the publication. This cluster also includes the online version of the Republican Post
- Broadcast Media – Projects such as event coverage, corporate videos and our very own REP TV ….watch for more info on this!
- Public Relations/Marketing Communication – All work related to PR and advertising campaigns and launches, event management, social media strategy/content creation and
