I'm NEARLY finished recording my new album. A THEMATIC album based on Autism spectrum and accociated disorders. Only 8 songs, but nearly 65 minutes. Ill put up a private link to a demo version of one of the songs featuring the late, great friend and violinist Retaw Boyce Storer. Julie Storer, I thought the recording was missing forever u till an old friend contacted me and had thr only copy in existence. I'm keeping his parts, redoing drums vocals and bass. Look on my "Small Dog Productions" like page for it. Remember, it's a mono demo on some old Nokia phone and will sound great when I'm finished.

I woke up from a dream and wrote a 22 minute song in 29/4. Yes, it seems divisible on sheet music, but no repetition of any notes until 29th beat.. Doesn't sound like 29/4, as anyone could clap to it. You could write it as 58/8, but that's only more confusing for the musician reading it. I've outdone TOOL without trying! They did win the Grammy 2 years ago for a 17 minute song which had a 21 note main riff. Yeah, 3 bars of 7, right? No. It's a 21 note riff. It can only be written 21/8. I haven't outdone them on that. One day. Never. Haha.

With Kevin Bacon – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉WOW, I've never received recognition for ANYTHING, really, besides my amount of musical ability. And, I'm autistic and in 4th grade, I WAS recognized by the school principal. She gave me a 10th grade syllabus which included trigonometry. I did THAT for fun, and got very noticed. For being such a NERD. So, this is almost the opposite! Thanks Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, you guys ROCK!

I should restate ONE thing I didn't mention. Thank you, Mischa Gee, that's a great idea and I would do the Trumpet/Trombone/Sax section on distorted guitars and maybe drums like Will Calhoun from Living Colour. The point is to have two paradoxical things.. like you said, a LOVE SONG like FRANK SINATRA... but with HARD ROCK elements. OR, say, a Slipknot style arrangement for a lyrical topic such as a Tony Bennett song!! I'm just trying to push my own boundaries musically, with people's wishes! ❤

I HAVE AN EXPERIMENT involving anyone who visits my page. Give me two things, BRIEFLY - 1. A TOPIC, and 2... A STYLE OF MUSIC that doesn't relate to the TOPIC.. When I get enough answers, I will choose the STYLE and TOPIC that appears most and USE them to quickly write and play and record a song... and you shall all receive CREDITS... maybe more. PLEASE suggest things? Can't wait!!

Saw something I expected. The new FAD on Foxtel is "Virtual Concert" tickets. THEY'RE not actually LIVE. It's pre-produced and shown 30 minutes later, with auto-tune on everything. They've taken a very destructive step towards great musicians. Is this the END of live music?!? One great thing though. Anyone who knows the amazing musicianship Porcupine Tree have, they're doing one in 3 weeks and there's NO AUTOTUNE, and they are totally against the whole thing yet have to compete with idiots like "50-cent" and any other washed-out idiots..

Hi Everyone! I saw Living Colour LIVE just recently, and this is one of their first songs I learned around age 15, haven't played it in 30 years, so it's very rough, but this is how much those guys have been an absolute beacon to me since then.....

ANYONE who hasn't heard the 2 brand new LEWIS TAYLOR albums in 18 years - "NUMB" (brilliant) and "THE ACOUSTIC ALBUM" (even more brilliant) - which is 16 acoustic versions of his songs dating back to 1996 - EVERYONE will adore these unique, beautiful recordings, pro musicians or non-musicians. I'm not impressed by many things, but THESE bring back so many important dynamics that have been missing from music in general for so, so, so many decades. And it's just BEAUTIFUL to hear. Trust me. Support him.

HELLO Everyone! I am conducting a survey, 20 questions, soon, for a MUSIC APP LIKE NO OTHER if you would partake? I'll let you know closer to the date but this is for musicians of all kinds, ranging from age 5 to 500.. and i think it's going to make people actually THINK more, and take giant musical leaps without even knowing. I would like to share with you, one of the GREATEST productions from 2003-2004 I've ever been a part of with my best mate Vincent Lamaro. ...and now, there is a documentary about it which really isn't some kind of "BIOPIC" - it's more a historical short movie about MUSIC and SYDNEY's massive change from having venues, to nothing at all, etc. It's INTERESTING!! check it out. I produced the ALBUM in 2003,, and did my finishing touches on the audiovisual using PRESONUS V6 PRO, (not advertising. just saying it is the best program ever)... ENJOY!!
