THE CÉSAR RÉVÉLATIONS 2025
For the eighth year running, CHANEL is the Official Partner of the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma for the Révélations project. This partnership turns the spotlight on sixteen actresses and sixteen actors nominated by the Révélations committee, this year composed of fourteen casting directors – the committee changes every year. Of the thirty-two performers, ten will be nominated by the Academy for the Most Promising Actress and Most Promising Actor awards*, to be presented at the upcoming César ceremony on Friday 28th February 2025.
Brought together on Monday 20th January at the Élysée Montmartre in Paris, alongside their godmothers and godfathers – all major figures in French cinema – these emerging talents had the pleasure of discovering the film and series of photos that honour them, directed this year by the filmmaker Vanessa Filho.
For this event, the Révélations Médina Diarra, Lilith Grasmug, Josefa Heinsius, Malou Khebizi, Nina Mélo and Melodie Simina, CHANEL ambassador Marion Cotillard, actress Élodie Bouchez, Zar Amir, and directors Mati Diop, and Maïmouna Doucouré were all dressed by CHANEL.
At the heart of CHANEL’s support for the film industry, the Révélations project is an opportunity for the House to demonstrate its close connections with the seventh art through the discovery, promotion and recognition of new French film talent from all horizons and backgrounds.
