BORDERLAND Dance Dance Media Production Company The basis for all of their endeavors under BORDERLAND is collaboration in cross-disciplinary fields.

BORDERLAND was founded by Rebecca Correia and Chelsea Zeffiro during the production of their documentary series, "Take Your Place," an inside look at diverse and note-worthy dance companies in different regions of America. What began as a production company for the documentary series quickly developed into an umbrella which produces dance-film, multimedia dance performance, as well as: 40 North, a

dance film festival. The goal of BORDERLAND is to produce multimedia and interdisciplinary works, centered around dance to enrich the artform by developing a sub-genre of dance: dancefilm. We believe that to reach wider audiences it is necessary to go outside of a theatre, beyond the studio and explore dance with all the technological nuances available to us in our current age.
