We’ve got a special treat for you! Local singer/songwriter Asgard Raven will be joining us in the studio to chat about his latest music release and perform his brand new single, Tranquillity which was recorded at local studio Sunrise Sound Studio

This track has an early Britpop shoegazing feel, and it’s his 4th release this year through the London-based label The Animal Farm. Tranquillity is all about finding peace in a chaotic world, with dreamy soundscapes that build into powerful, distorted highs. It’s a perfect escape, even if just for a few minutes!

Asgard Raven is an indie-rock artist who’s been gaining attention from the likes of Radio X, BBC, Amazing Radio, and more. His music, born from experiences during his time in the Army, combines influences from punk, rock, blues, and indie music to create a unique sound reminiscent of early 90s Britpop.

We love supporting local talent, and we’re excited to bring you the best of what Andover has to offer. 🎧

95.9FM Andover Radio - we are the local radio station for Andover. We play a broad mix of music from the past seven decades, interspersed with useful and ‘useable’ information of interest to people who live, work and play in and around Andover.

The Morning Crew each weekday morning is packed full of information you need to get your day started, Craig Hicks has the Hall of Fame, as voted by you during the day and Grant Francis is always willing to put the world to rights on your drive home.

Since April 2018, we have been working under the name ‘Love Andover’ to deliver social action projects the benefit the people of Andover. To date, we have regularly get over 14,000 unique visitors to our website and social media views exceed 20,000 a week.

We are incorporated as a not-for-profit enterprise with a commitment to provide social gain for the town.
