Straight facts!

If you have ever worked in a production office, we want to hear from you. How long was the longest you ever waited for a DTR?

The reality is, often; those of us who work in the office do so in tandem with pursuing our own ambitions as artists/creators/filmmakers. We would love nothing more then to hear from you if of you work in the office (or hope to one day work in a production office) then you too can wait for DTR’s 🤣

What we’re about

We are all about supporting and encourage Indie Filmmakers and Content Creators. Twice a year, we host a short form media fest accepting all kinds of content: Short films, Vlogs, Music Videos, Documentaries, Commercials, Promo Videos, Trailers; If you made it yesterday or 12 years ago, we’re interested. Short films should live on past their initial festival circuit. (submissions thought FilmFreeway)

As filmmakers ourselves we felt there was a void in our industry. We needed somewhere to come and try things out, to network across our industry (rather than up). There is no shortage of prestigious film festivals in Toronto (they are some of our fav. events to attend) but Indie Night is excited to provide an affordable and accessible opportunity for artists to show new work to a live audience. We gather to acknowledge our accomplishments and learn from our mistakes. If you are interested in meeting the next wave of indie filmmakers, this is an event for you.

In between events, we focus on connecting our community to other indie events, Shinning a spotlight on unsung/ forgotten indie heroes, Hosting interviews with community members, ya know, all the Fun Stuff!

As an indie company, we are very grateful for the support of our community. So whether you are a filmmaker or film lover, if Indie night sounds like an event for you, hit Like, follow us on Instagram, Tell your friends!
