An arctic chill is gripping the region, with wind chills dropping to -15 to -30 degrees tonight and tomorrow night. Stay bundled up and be careful out there!

But don’t worry—warmer temps are on the way. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if we see a 70° reading somewhere in Iowa by the end of the month. And you know what that means… severe weather season is just around the corner! 🌪️

Get ready for a two-round snow event lasting through Sunday morning! Here’s what to expect:

➡️ Round 1 (Tonight): 2-4” of snow
➡️ Round 2 (Saturday - Sunday AM): Another 4-8” possible

Total snowfall could reach 5-10” across Wisconsin and Iowa, with higher amounts likely in southern Wisconsin/far NE Iowa. However, some areas may see lower totals due to dry air limiting snowfall.

🚨Midwest Saturday Snowstorm Incoming! ❄️

A winter storm is on track to sweep through the Midwest, but not everyone will see the same impacts. A narrow band of heavy snow is expected to set up, bringing over half a foot of snow to some localized areas—mainly in parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Just outside this zone? You might only see a light dusting or even just flurries.

If you’re in the path of the heavier snow, expect tricky travel conditions and reduced visibility. Keep an eye on forecasts as the storm develops, since small shifts could make a big difference in snowfall amounts! Stay safe and stay warm!
