The best part of Halloween for me was making the boys costumes. I always asked them what they wanted to be and Owen was n 2nd grade and wanted to be a basketball. So off to HD I went to get chicken wire and paper mache fixins. It was quite the project but it was fabulous. Cindy Walker ; his teacher called the day of the party. She ask where his costume was; I said I’m bringing it cause he couldn’t take it on the bus! It was great! Hopefully, I can find a picture of it. I even made a basketball net on a dowel hanging above his head. Like he was slam dunked through it.
