On Sunday, March 17, the TW!NKLE team kicked off the official launch of the iCommunicate XXVI: TW!NKLE, titled as “A Night of Shining Stars” at Sundays Cafe and Restaurant, Marikina City.

Spearheaded by its editorial board, TW!NKLE highlighted its most-awaited cover stories from 5 Filipino children prodigies among different fields. Along with the unveiling of the magazine’s content which include various stories ranging from news features to literary.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are…

Drifting with the joys of laughter and games, in hiding from the worries and fears, unknowing of what the universe has in store for the dreamers we once were—infinitely we wondered. Even though not every ray of sun brings us light; even though not every constellation makes us bright.

With growth, that little star stays and shines within us after all. We just learn to sit with them in thought and be kinder to them when their gleam dulls.

Wondering doesn’t end when childhood is over. Shoot for the skies with the 𝗧𝗪!𝗡𝗞𝗟𝗘 team as we reminisce the pages of our youth and rekindle the light of our little stars.

As Filipinos, we have known several slogans used by the government to describe the Philippines as a country, such as ‘It’s more fun in the Philippines’ and ‘Love the Philippines.’ Yet, amid the country drowning in bureaucracy, abuse, poverty, and inequality, is it really more fun in the Philippines if the impacts of these socio-economic issues affect the most vulnerable—the children?
