Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that the state government has decided not to accept a ₹100 crore grant from the Adani Foundation for the prestigious Young India Skills University. The decision comes in light of ongoing controversies and allegations surrounding the Adani Group, both domestically and internationally. Speaking at a press conference alongside ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, advisor Vem Narender Reddy, and MLA Mandula Samuel, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to keep Telangana’s developmental initiatives free from controversy. He clarified that the state does not wish to involve itself in any disputes linked to the Adani Group.
