🌎🌏 CiNEOLA presents AS FAR AS WE COULD GET, a documentary short film by Iván Argote.

Switching back and forth between two locations, in this short film full of twists and turns (both literal and metaphorical), Iván Argote digs an imaginary tunnel between Indonesia and Colombia – more specifically, between Palembang and Neiva, which have the rare privilege of being one of only six pairs of exactly antipodal cities.

🇨🇴 Dieguito and El Gago are both supporters of Colombian fútbol team Deportivo Independiente Medellín. Since they were kids, they have traveled on the back of trucks following their team wherever they go. Several of their friends have died in road accidents or fights with other gangs. Erminta, El Gago’s mother, sees his son’s life from a loving but realistic perspective. A road trip from Medellín to Montería gives us an insider’s look at how they live.
