Review: This my first Katie Bailey book and it did not disappoint! I enjoy this book so much! Holly & Jax have made my list of top favorite book couple!
Holly is approaching her thirties and she wants to find the perfect man before than to settle down with. The book starts out with her going on so many horrible dates, that she recruits the bartender, Jax, to help her find Mr. Perfect after he rescued her from her bad date with Keith. Jax agrees. As time goes on, Holly starts to have feelings for Jax, but he has made it clear, the doesnโt do relationships.
A low stress, fluffy read with likable characters and no breakup. This was a soft and steady, slow-burn, friends to lovers. A lot of hilarious banter and an all around a great romcom.
I highly recommend checking out this book.

Review: Cocky Score is the first in The Hawkeyes Hockey series by Kenna King and it did not disappoint!
I loved that Briggs and Autumn's story out as friends and blossomed into lovers. Briggs career and image are in trouble so PR's solution - fake date the girl next door. Except Autumn is his best friends little sister.
The chemistry between these two was off the charts, but it did at times feel a bit rushed especially at the ending.
Overall, highly recommend! Can't wait to start Lake and Tessa's story!

Review: Play With Me by Becka Mack is the second book in the Playing for Keeps Series and I devoured this within 24 hours. Garrett and Jennie have a special place in my heart!
Garrett and Jennie were so fun to read! I loved watching their relationship builds from friends to lovers. The way Garrett was so instinctive and communicative with Jennie was so great to see. He never pushed her past her limits, and when she finally opened up to him, he was so understanding and sweet. Also, the way he was possessive when of her when around her dance partners was hot to see!
I can't forget to add that I absolutely adored seeing of all the familiar characters from Consider Me, Carter, Ollie, Emmett, Cara, Adam and Jaxon (who is a great new addition!). This one of my favorite found families and reading of them all together with banter and text chains just pulls on those heartstrings of mine.
Highly recommended!

Wren "Sticks" has been in and out of foster more times than anyone should be due to a drug dealing father. Thankfully, she is placed in a home that welcomes her with open arms and gains a protective brother, Evan, that she's able to rely on. During a lunch break, Wren, decides to take a nap in her brothers car, but when she sees the police and a K9 dog, she starts to panic, knowing their is a certain package in her bag that her father wanted her to deliver. In a panic, Wren hides the package under, Stone's truck as she knows his father (who is a defense lawyer) will be able to get him out of trouble. When Stone is found and arrested, he knows exactly who is at fault so when he sees Wren, he vows to never look or speak to her again. But when he moves to Shadow Valley, he comes face to face with Wren again, and can't seem to stay away from her.

Review: I am so glad I finally took the time to read this one despite the negative reviews I kept seeing and how many times I had to restart this book. It was well worth the read!
Carter Beckett....what a freaking stud! Heโs funny, caring & thoughtful. Heโs goofy in a sexy way & heโs just so sweet. The way he treats Ollie & how much he goes out of his way to show that he is all in with her is just swoon worthy! He is such a cinnamon roll and I didn't expect him to be this way.
Olivia is a great FMC! I love that she is a short girl like myself, but has such confidence that makes her more intimidating despite her height. She's cute and relatable. A gym teacher who is hit on my her students, but gives them the attitude right back.
I loved the way Carter and Liv's relationship developed during the story. They're such opposites, but work so well together. I couldnโt get enough of watching them fall head over heels.
And the side characters, Hank, what a freaking sweetheart! I adored his & Carter's relationship and thought it was so sweet how they met.
I didn't care for the third act breakup. Carter acted like such an idiot and I was so relieved when he redeemed himself. I've found I am not a big fan by some of the third act breakups I read...
Highly recommend!

Review: What a great debut novel Faceoff by Mari Loyal is! It is unique with both of the main characters being hockey players and having a rivalry which was fun to see!
Faceoff is fun, flirty, and no unnecessary third act breakup.
Luz is one tough cookie. She's fierce, sassy and will anything for those that she loves and I love that in a FMC. Max, on the other hand, is one of the biggest cinnamon roll MMC I've read! I absolutely adored how soft he was towards Luz!
Luz and Max's relationship felt very balanced with both being athletes and knowing how tough it can be. Seeing the two of them as rival hockey captains brought out so much great tension!
Faceoff is a closed door book, but the kissing scenes are very spicy!

Juliette is the coaches daughter, making her a big no-no/off limits, but that doesn't stop Mac from feeling attracted to her the first time he saw her on the ice at a family skating event the Viper's hockey team was hosting.
Juliette is new to Orchard City and a former hockey player after a terrible car accident left her unable to play hockey anymore. She's slow to trust and has a bit of a black cat type personality. She isn't actively looking for a relationship, but something about Mac Sullivan makes her pursue a secret relationship with him.
Mac Sullivan, hockey player for the Vipers and such a golden retriever type! Mac is definitely a top tier book boyfriend! The man who got Juliette's romance book delivered to his apartment and annotated it for her before he gave it back to her with spiciness, ugh swoon!
Highly recommend! If you want a sweet romance with low angst and a HEA, then Dirty Pucking Play is for you!

Review: The Fall Out by Jenni Bara is the first in the The Boston Revs Three Outs Series. It is a sweet, emotional and swoon worthy, friends to lovers, slow burn, baseball romance that was an absolutely perfect read.
The MMC, Christian "Dragon" Damiano, has been pulled up to pitcher for the Boston Revs where our FMC, Avery Wilson's, dad is the coach. Avery is out for a fun night with her girls when Christian comes over to talk with her. After a hot one night stand, Avery leaves in the middle of the night when she finds out Christian plays for the Boston Revs. Fraternizing with her dad's players is a major no no. But their worlds become intertwined when a slider of Christian's accidentally injuries a puffin that flew onto the field as Avery is an avian vet.
As the story goes on, Avery gives up dating for a whole year to focus on herself, and in true book boyfriend fashion, Christian becomes her friend during this to bide his time for when he can tell Avery how he really feels.
Between their banter, matching Mario & Peach costumes, Puff Daddy (Puff the Puffin) and the way Chris is with her, I couldn't put this book down!
Highly recommend especially to my sports romance lovers!

Review: Breakaway Hearts is the second book by Nikki Lawson and I absolutely devoured this book in 24 hours. Reese Sutton is a top tier book boyfriend!
Reese Sutton plays for the NHL team, the Denver Aces, where he recently gets dumped by his ex-girlfriend, Sienna, who also happens to work as a lawyer for the NHL team. He is desperate to win her back at any cost, even asking his best friend to be his fake girlfriend to make Sienna jealous.
Callie is an elementary school teacher who Reese has been best friends for many years so when he asks her to be his fake girlfriend to help win his ex-girlfriend back, she agrees. He says heโll do anything to repay her, and she wants him to show her how to be better in bed. Heโs hesitant to agree as he doesnโt want to ruin their friendship, but he does anyways. The way Callie views herself and is so self conscious of her body feels like I am talking about myself. She is so easy to relate too!
As Reese and Callie start their spicy lessons, they start to feel more than just a friendship towards each other. I loved the banter between them as friends and lovers.
There was definitely a lot more spice than plot in my opinion, but nothing wrong with that when you have a man like Reese.
Highly recommend to everyone and those who definitely love a good hockey romance!

Review: Daring the Hockey Player is the second book in the Ice Dragons Hockey series and my second book by Willow Fox that I read.
Amber and Jasper's relationship starts off of a bit rocky as Amber is the sister of Jasper's brother's current fiance, Emerson, which makes Amber off limits due to the bro code. So instead of dating, the become good friends. After Amber's apartment starts on fire, Kyler suggests to Jasper that she move in with him as things between Kyler and Emerson are still new. Jasper agrees, but is very cautious is how things will go.
Overall, the story is cute and was a quick read. I did not like some of the behavior of the characters, but I do recommend!

Review: Sins of Sorrow by A.R Rose is Book 1 in the With a Kiss Duet. I want to thank A.R. Rose for giving me the chance to receive an ARC from her, it did not disappoint!
It is a modern day retelling of Romeo & Juliet, mafia romance style. The story starts with the characters Sly & Vinnie meeting when they were 9 years old. Sly and his family goes to Vinnie's for dinner where a death of a family member of Sly's occur and creating a rivalry between the two families. Vinnie and Sly encounter each other a few times over the years until they meet one night at a masquerade party. As adults, Sly, a hot bad boy, not quite a doctor and a pleasure Dom. Vinnie owns her own publishing company and is a daddies girl whose family is ready for her to get married. The secrecy and drama between these two will keep you on your toes as to what happens next.
Highly recommend reading!
