e guitar sound. It's a subgenre of the Beautiful Music format, and fans of Easy Listening, Adult Contemporary, New Age, Jazz, Soft Rock, Instrumental and acoustic music may like the station. While there are other all-guitar stations on the internet, this is the only station playing the HITS, instrumentally on guitar. Another way to describe the station - if you know the radio stations today that play the soft pop/AC hits of the '60s, '70s and '80s, well THIS is the guitar instrumental version of those stations! What's nice about this guitar instrumental station - all the songs flow nicely, and yet there's still a variety of sounds: some recordings are just 1 or 2 guitars, period. Some are full orchestra and are heavily string-laden. Some are in between (guitar + piano + 1 other instrument, for instance). Some are ballads or midtempos. Some are spanish guitar (aka classical guitar), some are acoustic guitar (i.e. the American sound - the kind of guitars on Jim Croce or Eagles records, for example). A few are on electric guitar (not the distorted electric guitar but the clean electric guitar.) And a small handful even have a slight "country guitar" sound. So there's quite a lot of variety.
