After the roof was jet washed it was leaking at a lot of the fixings. The scum and moss had become part of its structure! A sunny spell with Acrypol will hopefully solve the leaks. It's a bitumen style roof sealer with fibres in it to bridge small gaps. A fantastic product. Bring on the rain!

Van headlight surgery. The running light bulb was operating intermittently. I could see heat discoloration on one of the bulb terminals, so I bent the connections in the holder so they make a better contact, sanded the heat marks clean and reassembled the beast. It seems to have solved the problem. Result!

A new handle for the oven in my campervan. Layered birchwood ply cut, shaped and sanded. It was a joy to make.

I'm nearly there! This campervan conversion had been great fun. There's some finishing touches to be fine for sure but here she is! High spec, compact and very comfortable. Alfresco hot shower, solar PV, cool kitchen, swivel seats in the cab etc.

Installation of air suspension on the new camper. It's an awesome system that replaces the existing bump stops. It allows adjustment of the ride height and reduces wear on the standard suspension components. Campers are basically fully loaded the whole time. A degree of adjustable leveling is also handy for uneven park ups. The original bump stops were very hard to remove, the studs were severely corroded and on one side the captive nut in the chassis sheared off. I had to glue a nut to a wire, thread it in the chassis and get the new bolt to bite. It was quiet a challenge!
