BRAND NEW SPLIT 7"! from Philadelphia, PA and Glazed from Jacksonville, FL will release "Lickety Split" digitally on Friday June 14th through all streaming services! Vinyl will definitely be coming in a couple months too. This record has been a long time in the making and I am absolutely stoked that it will be released to the universe.

The songs were recorded by Eric McNelis at The Gradwell House , the tracks were recorded by John Howard at War House Recordings in Gainesville, FL and all of the songs were mastered by the amazing Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, The Dangerous Summer, Turnstile, Armor For Sleep). You may also notice that the artwork is awesome. This hand painted, trippy, monster-filled, fun-fest was created by Joshua Mikel who you may know from the art he created for his former band Look Mexico . Yes, there are a lot of creative powerhouses involved in this one!

This is the first of many split 7"'s planned for the future of and I am so excited for the opportunity to work with bad ass bands like Sleep In. and Glazed. One last thing, Glazed will be hitting the road on a big tour June 15th. So, everyone needs to listen a lot to their new songs, go see them in your hometown and sing in their faces. PRE-ORDER TODAY! Time Spent Driving "Estrangers" LP bundle paired with the "Raven" black t-shirt is available to buy now! has released their 3rd full length album to critical acclaim and I think this is their best record yet. To their fans of over 20 years, this bundle will satisfy all of your collector desires and to the new fans, just discovering how good Time Spent Driving are today, the sounds even better than through streaming services so pick this up. All art was designed by singer/songwriter Jon Cattivera.

https://shop.negativeprogressionrecords.com/

Pioneers of the late 90s/early 2000s emo scene, Time Spent Driving’s latest LP, “Estrangers,” is a varied journey through the dark corners of the human condition. Expansive, moody, and dynamic; they never lose sight of their trademark sound. However, it’s one that has evolved over the years and is always taking on new challenges. The band’s been known for their lyrical prowess, but the latest material reaches new heights when it comes to painting a picture in the mind of the listener. With a brutally honest approach, “Estrangers” manages to deliver some of the best hallmarks of the genre to both satiate the loyal Time Spent Driving fanbase and engage new listeners.”

Songwriter Jon Cattivera says, "On our last album, we had a lot of catching up to do, so we intentionally let things breathe and build, resulting in some often long-winded songs where it made sense. To counter that, I went into the follow-up with a loose goal to write with a more stripped-down and raw approach that might yield something on the shorter and sweeter side. We definitely still integrate our atmospheric tendencies on certain tracks but kept production a little simpler in many cases, perhaps as a nod to some of our earliest work."

NEW BAND!!! I am so excited to announce the signing of an amazing new band to the family, Yunger from . is an incredible band in the vein of era , (the old stuff). Yunger's sound is BIG, melodic, and intricate. These guys are winning over new fans every single show and starting to pack venues.

I was first introduced to them through guitarist Dylan Todt who was in an old screamo band called La Circa back in 2009. Yunger's musicality has ethereal elements, is atmospheric at times, but has no shortage of memorable riffs. The rhythm section is incredible and both provides a solid foundation, but also drives forward. Not to be outdone, the vocals by Jay Malcuit, wow. It is immediately clear that such a rich tone only comes from a trained voice. With such a range, soaring high and plunging deep, Yunger will have everyone at their shows sharing in a truly meaningful and powerful experience.

They will be releasing a brand new 2-song 7" later in 2024. Get ready.

BRAND NEW digital release TODAY by !!!

Gone Stereo from Long Island, NY return with a powerhouse sophomore release on . “I’m So Sick” is another classic, early 2000s pop-punk, sing-a-long anthem that builds on their previous “Don’t Think I Forgot About You” single. Fans of , or will enjoy the same energy, attitude and hook-driven catchiness as their debut. “I’m So Sick” paints a picture about how it doesn’t really matter how many times you write about your ideas or inspirations, you get just so sick of it. But you’re also happy about the torture it brings you all at the same time.

B-side “Cool Kids” is a mid-tempo walk through the school halls in-between classes and everywhere you look is another self-absorbed, obnoxious clique. All you want to do is push everybody out of the way and kick open the front doors. Singer Matty Lupinacci says, "“Cool Kids” is about coping with cliques, feeling left out and how unpleasant it feels. So you think that you think you want to be a part of it, but you refuse to be pressured to conform to their standards. In the end those cliques will all fade away.”"

These two bangers were recorded/mastered by Nada Recording Studio ( , , ) and mixed at Portrait Recording Studios ( , ). Original artwork hand-painted by punk rock legend Mark de Salvo ( , , ).

"I'm So Sick" is playing right now on SiriusXM Faction and 7" vinyl will be available in a couple months!

I am beyond excited to announce the signing of Time Spent Driving from Santa Cruz, CA to the family! TSD have been friends with the label since way back in 2001 when they used to play with west coast indie/emo powerhouses Counterfit and Benton Falls regularly. Although we were never able to make it happen back then, songwriter Jon Cattivera and I reconnected last year. You see, TSD broke up in 2003, but reformed in 2012 and have released a good amount of awesome new music since (through Cardigan Records and Lorelei Records). This was one of those bands back in the day that was beloved by those "in the know," but wasn't a household name. TSD continued the legacy of the 1990s emo legends like , , , and others falling into the "2nd wave emo" sound. In fact, they were featured on the highly popular compilation series "The Emo Diaries: Chapter 7" released by . Jon creates songs that have incredible dynamics, subtlety and power. If this band doesn't make something deep inside you churn, you need to take a long look in the mirror.

have a brand new full length on deck that should be out this summer. I'm so proud to say that this album, entitled "Estrangers," is the first LP NPR will press on vinyl in the entire long history of the label. are not like anything else out there today. This is not , this is not , this is the real deal.

NEW BAND SIGNING!!! The Last Second Save from Baltimore, MD have signed to NPR and two brand new songs are ready to be released digitally on Friday, March 10th. This band is the brain child of songwriter extraordinaire, Jesse Procaccini who has been developing his craft for years. The collaboration on these two songs with the recording, mixing and producing team of Will Beasley and Paul Leavitt ( , ), have taken his music to a whole different level. Jesse cut his teeth in bands as a teen in New Jersey, but has found his creative muse for many years in Maryland. The artwork for the single was done by the amazing Daniel Hawkins at bycentralstandard and the vinyl should be released sometime in May.

The single “Baltimore” has extensive guest vocals by another incredible musician from Baltimore Ben DeHan Music. Ben, previously in the band American Diary, wrote and recorded two verses that complement Jesse’s vocals perfectly. This collaboration is as layered and complex as the city of Baltimore itself. B-side “Next Best Thing” underwent a transformation in the recording studio that resulted in a song that at times resembles singing . It’s upbeat, catchy, and reminds you of all the possibilities in the world after getting through a tough time. While you are waiting with bated breath for March 10th, enjoy Jesse’s many other songs on Spotify and AppleMusic, my favorites are “Tremble” and “Miss Me When.”

Releasing some of the best indie, emo, pop punk, hardcore, and metal since 1996. The home of your next favorite band.

Fire Sale from Los Angeles “A Fool’s Errand” is now available on all digital platforms! Fire Sale is a punk rock supergroup comprised of Matt Riddle ( and ), Chris Swinney ( ), Pedro Aida ( ), and Matt Morris. Their new 2-song Single was mixed/mastered at The Blasting Room (owned by Bill Stevenson of the ) and has hand-painted art by , known for classic album covers ( , ). “A Fool’s Errand” starts with a dynamic bass line that pushes the melody all over the fretboard. With plenty of “woahs” to go around, fans singing along in front will be squished against the stage by the inevitable circle pit. B-Side “We Dance For Sorrow” is a mid-tempo roam that has a “hey! hey! hey!” chorus so catchy you’ll be singing to yourself all over town.

Of the single “A Fool’s Errand,” bass player Matt Riddle says, “I wrote the music to this song while I was extremely ill about 10-12 years ago. The bassline came about by testing myself, to see if I could still play at all. It has a weird picking style, kind of a banjo-ish thing. When I showed the guys, they seemed to really like it. Pedro wrote this killer vocal melody with rad harmonies, Chris tracked the guitars and Matt laid down these insane drums and I was like, wow!”

And of the B-Side “We Dance For Sorrow,” guitarist Chris Swinney says, “I’ve had the verse riff knocking around for years, but could never turn it into a song. One night last year, I couldn’t sleep, so I wrote the chorus progression and the chromatic bridge riff. When the other guys wrote their parts, it really took shape. We have written and recorded a lot of songs, but this is one of my favorites. It has a cool melancholy vibe to it, perfect for the fall.”

GREYED OUT AVAILABLE TO STREAM NOW! "Broken Like An Arrow" is now available on all digital platforms with vinyl, cassette, and CD expected later in 2022. This single includes two incredible gems, "Broken Like An Arrow" and "No Dice."

Greyed Out is a melodic pop punk 5-piece from the San Francisco East Bay, composed of four former members of This Time Next Year ( ) and Pale Chalice. While promoting their two highly acclaimed full-length albums, This Time Next Year toured the US multiple times in support of , Set Your Goals, Fireworks, Anarbor, A Loss For Words, Transit, , and .

With a self-released EP under their belt, Greyed Out is excited to work with Negative Progression Records to put out their next 2-song Single, "Broken Like An Arrow," adding more melody and extra octane to their notable sound. Pete Dowdalls' soaring vocals in "Broken Like An Arrow" lift you up and leave you feeling like you’re gliding throughout the Bay Area’s hills and valleys. A mid-tempo ride that incorporates guitar riffs paying homage to a broader influence of late-80s/early-90s alternative.

B-side “No Dice” is shorter, faster, and louder. Honoring their melodic hardcore heritage, it’s a continuous blast of energy that will make fans stage dive, finger point, sing along, and explode on the dance floor until they are dripping in sweat at the end of this minute and a half banger.

Of the single "Broken Like an Arrow," vocalist Pete Dowdalls says, "There is solace in solitude. Become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Isolation builds character and there is nothing more important in this world."

Of the B-side "No Dice" he explains, "The song is about moral and ethical laziness. Don’t be held hostage by those who are fundamentally insincere. Stand up for what you believe in or move on."
