This series of tutorials is an introduction to "Spat 5" and "Panoramix". "Spat 5" is a real-time audio engine developed at Ircam designed for sound spatialization, artificial reverberation, and sound diffusion.

Rojin Sharafi is a Vienna-based, Tehran-born soundartist, performer and composer of acoustic and electronic music, which freely crosses the borders between genres. Currently pursuing her masters in composition and sound engineering at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, Rojin has released solo albums "Urns Waiting To Be Fed" (2019) and "Zangaar (2020). www.rojinsharafi.com

We're thrilled to present to you the first video from Rojin Sharafi's tutorial series, an introduction to "Spat 5" and "Panoramix". "Spat 5" is a real-time audio engine developed at Ircam designed for sound spatialization, artificial reverberation, and sound diffusion. In the first tutorial -LINK IN BIO-, a theoretical introduction by Rojin Sharafi delves into the surface of the Spat architecture. It also briefly covers topics like reverberation, the panning module, and OSC messages within Spat 5.
