Now in it's 12th year, the Ash Cup will again be contested following the conclusion of the Bundanoon Highland Gathering 02 April, 2022
Basically it has been going for about 12 years and started with a couple of pipers having bit of a musical “duel” after the festivities of the Bundanoon Highland gathering had finished, over a few beers at the Bundanoon Club. May be won by soloists or a selection of multiple players (pipes & drums)
Every contestant has a nip of scotch (supplied) before starting and it is judged on (3) x equally w
eight criteria of:
Entertainment Value
Originality &
Technical Ability
Prizes this year are will be for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places.
