Hi I’m looking to rehome my African grey parrot Harvey who is around 18 years old. Harvey was my mother’s parrot that I inherited when she passed away I have had him a few years, but recently started working again which means he is left on his own a lot so has started to pluck his feathers. This isn’t fair on him. Harvey prefers women to men so a female owner is ideal. He says quite a lot :-, I want a bit, gizz a bit, bye, night night bae as sleeps, he does swear a little as well and coughs saying I got a bad cold son. Loads more. Unfortunately he needs a home that will give him more attention and let him settle in before trying to handle him , my mum clipped his wing so unfortunately he can’t fly which is a shame. He never gets locked inside his cage either but because he can’t fly he doesn’t come off it but once he settles in he will come down. I’m in central Scotland so new home in Scotland would be better for him . Must be at home all the time or most of the time, home with no other animals especially no cats. Please pm me if interested.
