This decisive action is a result of an enduring dispute involving an impressive ₹1.77 crore in unsettled dues.

Softtech Engineers Ltd., a notable IT services provider situated in the bustling Baner area of Pune, had previously turned down the directives issued by the MSME Facilitation Council of Madhya Pradesh. Their refusal was a direct response to a complaint made by C-Net Infotech Pvt Ltd., an esteemed IT company from Bhopal, boasting a remarkable 25-year track record.

The legal narrative saw the administrative bodies of both Bhopal and Pune instigate rigorous legal actions against the Pune firm, marking a fresh phase in the persistent contention between these two tech entities. This saga reached its pinnacle with the Facilitation Council issuing a Recovery Notice (RRC) in September, prompting the Pune district administration to kickstart recovery operations against Softtech Engineers.

In a landscape where an astounding 6.63 crore MSME units are battling with the tribulations of non-payments, with a massive 10.7 lakh crore caught up in various legal mazes, this episode is pioneering. The director of C-Net voiced optimism that such unwavering legal steps will discourage potential violators and bolster the confidence of MSMEs across India in the justice system.
