The intensity of grievances reached a point where the restaurant became the focal point of discussions at a meeting involving the Community Board and the 76th Precinct.

A resident living in close proximity to Phil’s shared, ““You will be shocked about the number of conversations you can hear from my bed. They’re animals. Friday and Saturday night, it’s like animal town.”

The bar has actively endeavored to transform its ambiance into a “quiet family-oriented establishment” and has taken the step of hiring a bouncer.

Random thought: In the movie BIG with Tom Hanks and Elizabth Perkins, Perkins' character falls in love with Hanks' character in the movie. Where Hanks' character is technically a 12 year old boy. In the movie they sleep together. Is that considered statutory r**e? 🤔🤔 Sidenote: Funny movie..must see!!
