🍂HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL 🍂
First day of Fall means hot chocolate is okay even if it's still 90 degrees out AND we can officially start reading Halloween theme books. 🎃
My kids love reading "Creepy Pair of Underwear". It has a surprise fun ending.

Easy Balloon Garland Tutorial 🎈
I've been obsessed with anything balloon for parties. They are so easy to use and are a big hit!
Instead of doing the usual mosaic balloon number we opted for a Balloon Garland. I love the colors my daughter picked out.

Just a hop, skip, and jump away is beautiful, quaint Boerne. ❤️
It's a small town with a ton of charm. We loved window shopping, grabbing yummy treats, and exploring their local parks like Cibolo Nature Center. So fun!

Even though summer is coming to an end that doesn't mean our adventures have to stop.
This school year I am making sure she has the right kind of food that will keep her going throughout the day and that includes Danimals®.

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream 🍧
The Black and White Modern Creamery did not disappoint. So many yummy flavors to cool you off on a hot day.
My kids got Mint Truffle and Black Vanilla. I spurged for Pistachio with a waffle cone. SO GOOD!! Check out my stories to see the inside of this cute shop.

This cute little town is less than 40 miles from Austin and 60 miles from San Antonio. Beware that traffic might effect how long it takes. We learned that the hard way. 😬
It's on Cypress Creek, so peaceful green scenery is just a block from the bustling town square.
Where to go: Wimberley Square for small local shops
Where to swim: Blue Hole Regional Park and Jacob's Well for natural swimming holes
Where to hike: Old Baldy hill for panoramic views of the countryside

3 Ways you can create memories with your family:
1. Workout Together - who doesn't love a Zumba class. You can look silly together
2. Play Outside - as a kid we played outside all day. Get back to that and play outside
3. Play a Game - check out my last post for a fun game. We play games like Hot Seat, Uno, Candyland, etc.

I enjoyed taking the kids on a Mural Hunt. There are over 80 murals here in Crazy, right?! We found some really fun ones that were new to us.

I know this one is super obvious, but honestly I thought we were out of the park phase until my 12-year-old said he wanted to go to the park. 🤯
I'm so glad he did, because they had so much fun and no one was there. Sometimes it is the simple things that are the most fun.
