The remix issue published AW 2011 focused on designers who use discarded waste to create 🆕 products. It hadn’t occurred to me this would turn into a movement, but I’m glad it did. It highlighted how much waste is created on this planet and if we take the time to reuse♻️ what we have, we can reduce our environmental impact and give wasted materials a second life.

I attended the Parliament of the Worlds Religions where we were fed daily by the Ontario Sikhs & Gurdwara Council. The Langar was open to all no one was refused. This group also fed people who were affected by Hurricane Harvey & the fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Regardless of the media’s efforts to create aggression & separatism.
