I’ve recently realized how much my ADHD effects my everyday life. I’m learning how to combat my ADHD daily but it is a constant struggle that I’m trying to turn into my super power.
Things I find work:
Daily Exercise
Eating clean food
Getting more sleep when I can fall asleep
Allowing myself rest days to recharge and reset my brain when life gets lifey.

What a Memorial Day Weekend!! One for the books! Our JEB spring team went undefeated and won the Memorial Day Championship! Hudson got his first PeWee Shutout and stood on his head all weekend! He definitely was taking some tips from watching this last month in net! ❤️ Saylor was a champ as well cheering her brother on!

This weekend at States did not go as planned, lots of little and big tears shed for our Junior Everblades. But the silver lining was there were memories made, ones we can learn from and take with us as we move to the next chapter!
One of the biggest tears was from our son, on the long drive home and most of the night as he snuggled next to me to try to mask his sadness. The relationships he made this year outweighed any trophy, any medal, and he was most concerned with, when will we get to play together as a team again. Hudson will be moving to Pewee and will have to leave his 10 U team next season and the thought of not playing with them broke his heart. I wish there were words to say to make it easier. ❤️

Alert: Garland of Good Deeds

Now that my kids are older and closer to understanding the true meaning of Christmas, I found this Garland of good deeds at Hallmark and it has been working wonderfully to bring out the spirit of Christmas within my children. My 10 yr old more so than my 6 yr old, but definitely a helpful way to teach the kiddos to think of others instead of just themselves!

One of the good deeds was to teach someone something new, so Hudson and Saylor were out in the yard for at least 2 hours going over goalie drills and kicking drills to help his little sister to improve her game. I had tears in my eyes watching him out in the yard with her because normally they would be on their iPads or annoying each other but they have been really coming together to achieve good deed rings. They also were busy making cards to relatives and have all kinds of plans to take the time to spread kindness and joy to others this holiday season! Highly recommend! ❤️

The Santa one pictured is from Michaels Stores but not sure if they have them in stock this year. I got it on clearance after Christmas last year. Same concept, and I love how you make the good deeds into Santa’s beard!

This is absolutely one of my favorite traditions during the holiday season. Every year my two kiddos and I head to to get our annual dated ornament. Now this tradition originated from my grandmother, who was basically mother Christmas and who I learned how to make holiday magic from! She would get a dated ornament every year for my sister and I and they are my most prized possessions to this day. Only difference is she got them after the holiday when they were on clearance( smart woman) but I thought I would modify so my kids and I would have an experience together in these very busy times and the kids could pick the one that spoke to them. That way we have a yearly reminder of what they loved that year, what they were into, and their personalities.

I then take a picture of them with the ornament and I grab the keepsake cards,( make sure to ask for a few when you check out) On the keepsake card you can write about the day or why they chose the ornament.
Saylor’s this year was, “Mom”, I have never seen any ornament this cute, the cute penguin, the glitter, oh the glitter is wonderful, the adorable polar bear, the way they look so happy roasting their s’mores! I mean it’s just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!!” I never want to forget how excited she was when describing why she chose it. So when you get home write the memory down on the keepsake card and you place it in the box then they have this beautiful memory there for them every Christmas to read though and reminisce. Someday I will be old and my memories will fade, but because of this tradition and the keepsake cards, we will never forget the very precious details of the little moments that make life so beautiful!

One of my favorite traditions during the month of October is to Boo!! It’s just a way to show someone that you’re thinking of them. There can be so many stressors in a day but when you walk up to your door and see a Boo, all those things can melt away! You never know how much someone might need that Boo or how it can turn someone’s day around. The only difference is I don’t leave the note requiring them to boo someone back. That’s up to them and I don’t want to put the pressure on them! It’s just a nice surprise without anything in return! 👻 I like to get my kiddos involved so they see how important it is to do kind things for others. It’s a win win !

Glow up! I have been dabbling with manifestation for some time and it’s incredible how it works. I wish I did it everyday and wouldn’t get into funks when life get too lifey! So I heard about this 5 day manifestation course by and thought I would give it a try to see if I could really get on board consistently to manifest the f**k out of life! I am happy, I’m grateful for all I have, but I want to be able to create a life that makes me glow all the time and when it doesn’t learn how to react better so I don’t repeat the same patterns of behavior. Ok everyone! I have had these hoodies pop up in my insta adds for months from ! I needed some new sweatshirts now that I’m a full time hockey mom, so I decided to try them! So this is my post on what I ordered vs what I got!

All three hoodies looked amazing on and I love them! The striped blue one and the green were more light weight than what I was expecting. The material in the picture appeared to be thicker. But living in Florida it actually worked out well to have them be light weight. The black and orange appeared to be tan and black in the picture, but the orange did look cute so it didn’t matter. But next time I would check the reviews to see if the color is accurate. I liked the material on this sweatshirt too, it was thicker. The shipping took about 3 weeks, which I didn’t love, and I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleased with the order.
So if you have seen this sweatshirt pop up in your feed and we’re wondering if you should purchase, I would recommend! Just make sure you don’t order for a trip a week away! It takes a minute to ship to you. And I would recommend looking at the review to see if the color was accurate to what you will actually get.

And they are on sale right now 39.99! I already have a couple more in my cart for the upcoming winter now that I know I like the sweatshirt! I’m wearing a size M for reference!

How to create a Spooky Fun Hocus Pocus Movie night.

I wanted to make this movie night extra special since we have waited 30 yrs for Hocus Pocus 2!
I went to and found matching pjs for the kiddos! I also found A hocus pocus pumpkin insert, two mini witch cauldrons for my charcuterie board, and monster peeps and ghouls M&Ms!

I went to for my boo buckets, and all the fun things that I put inside. They had tons of fun things for kids and they were the cheapest compared to the dollar tree, and Target that I found. They also have a new section that had Hocus Pocus accessories for girls that were just adorable!

Prep:
The day before we watched the movie I had my kiddos paint us a Purple pumpkin and insert the pieces into the pumpkin!
I put the boo buckets together before I went to bed so they would wake up to a spooky surprise the next morning!

Day of the Movie Night:
The kids woke up to their boo buckets and were so excited! They loved that they could wear matching pjs to watch the movie in.

I made a fun movie night charcuterie board using the witch cauldrons and used the Hocus Pocus pumpkin as my centerpiece! It turned out amazing! If you are having adults at your movie night I found the cutest witch decals at the that you could place on a wine glass to add some witchy elements!

I lit candles all over the house to create a spooky atmosphere. I also turned on my DIY witch cauldron and it added just the right touch for our spooky movie night!

We are Halloween Fanatics at our house and it’s always joy to do fun things around the holidays to make memories for my kiddos.

10 yrs ago as a new mom of a bouncing baby boy, I had a lot of changes going on in my life. When we had our baby my husband and I decided it would be best for our family for me to stay home with him. I went from having a full time job as a teacher to now caring for a baby all day long without any mom friends, or anyone I could relate to. My whole identity as I knew it was gone. I was so overjoyed with this new baby but had no idea how to fill my days. I felt so alone! So a friend told me about baby Bootcamp aka Form Fit! At first I thought it would be a good way to get back in shape and I could take my baby with me. It was so much more than that. It led to workouts followed by play dates that led to lifelong friendships, for both moms and kiddos! We created traditions, and created 10 yrs of memories and 10 yrs of a group text chains on all the questions, happenings and trying to organize a day where we can all rearrange our crazy schedules for a much needed lunch to catch up on life! So if you are a new mom and you are looking for your tribe fitness is always a good place to find them. I’m so grateful for people like Courtney McManus at Form Fit that create spaces for new moms to thrive not only in fitness but in life! Being a stay at home mom has been wonderful. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been able to be there for everything. Now a new chapter is here! Both of my kiddos are in school full time and now I have more time to go out there and make something of myself!🤪 A couple of weeks ago I was super excited about all the endless possibilities that this new chapter of having both kids in school would bring. Now that it’s here I find myself overwhelmed because I don’t really know where to start and I want to do so many things that I’ve done nothing! 🤪
Who out there struggled with the crossroad? Any suggestions?
