Incident: Earthquake

Time and date: 8:43 AM on July 27, 2022 (Wednesday)

Intensity in Nueva Vizcaya: IV (generally), V in Bambang

Epicenter's Exact Location = 17.63°N, 120.74°E - 002 km N 20° E of Lagangilang (Abra).

Magnitude = 7.3 Depth = 025 km

ACTIONS TAKEN BY PDRRMO:
 Conducted the duck, cover, and hold protocol;
 Evacuated PLGU employees and visitors to safe areas;
 Mr. Robert Corpuz, PDRRMO, called the Governor Hon. Carlos M. Padilla to inform him of the incident. Governor approved for the activation of the PDRRMC Response Cluster headed by Mrs. Flordelina Granada, PSWDO, to monitor and manage the incident;
 Closely coordinated with the Incident Commander Warden Andrada of the NVSU Event re: Honoris Causa;
 Around 9:10 AM, PDRRMO used its official vehicle to roam the Provincial Capitol and announce that it is now safe to go back inside the buildings;
 Continous cordination with 15 MDRRMOs, NUVELCO, DPWH, and PNP regarding the earthquake incident;
 Collated information regarding the road status, lifeline functionality, building condition, and records on casualties;
 Coordinated with the members of the response cluster; and
 Conducted RDANA with members of the response cluster. Meeting is at recess from 11:15 AM to give time for collation of reports per agency.

RDANA UPDATES AS OF 12:30 NOON:

• NUVELCO - all electrical posts are upright, and functional. No un/scheduled power interruption for today;

• MUNICIPALITIES:
> All lifelines (communication, water and electricity) are functional;

> Landslides:
~ Provincial Road at Kayapa: Kayapa Proper to Lawed (clearing in progress, semi-passable)
~ Ambaguio Municipal Road: Brgy. Labang brgy hall to Nalay-an (not passable)

> Building condition:
~ Alfonso Castañeda - with cracks: TESDA bldg
~ Bambang - with cracks: Abinganan Brgy Hall
~ Bayombong - with cracks: Provincial Assessors Office

> No reported casualty related to earthquake

> Suspension of classes and work not recommended
