Black Movie Month (BMM) is an online campaign celebrating films made for, by and about persons of African descent. Its purpose is to heighten awareness of the contributions of Black artists, and stimulate sales of Black movies across varied platforms, demonstrating the economic viability and influence of Black audiences.
