“Let’s Talk About Sets!” is a playful podcast by comics in NYC. It’s about just one thing: the “science” and craft of stand-up comedy. Each episode zooms in on a particular element of stand-up, like “openers” or “joke writing” whereby we attempt to systematically explore how stand-up works, share our theories, and spill the beans on “inside baseball” aspects of stand-up as a craft. And we do this by laughing our asses to the best bits by our guests and other comics. Our show has been considered for publication as a book, it’s been used in a university curriculum, and we regularly receive grateful messages from fans around the world thanking us for the show.
