Thymesia 2 paragraph first impressions review

Set in the Hermes Kingdom, something something power through alchemy, something something plague happened. You play as Corvus(its crowguy) the plague doctor looking dude, traversing the land in the form of memories and something.

Gameplay is a mix of the usual souls-ly formula, battleflow has certain aspects taken inspiration from Sekiro via the parry/execute system with a more Dark Souls/Bloodborne approach when it comes to travelling. Bonfires are chairs called beacons, you do your levelling there, maps seems more instance-like akin to Nioh, you get skills via Claw attacks and setting shards. Music pretty fitting and good imo, only downside is the parries are way way louder than expected for others.

TL;DR try this if you want sekiro without the traversing part in a bloodborne environment, 9/10 since indie
