Free Range Records Don't Fence Us In Born a small, fierce critter in the midst of hollywood sharpshooters, free range records is a label that doesn’t believe in small spaces.

We prefer wide open ones, so our motto is “Don’t Fence Me In”. What kind of music do you like? If you are like us (you know- fairly badass), you are likely to say “all kinds of music.”
You just like music that’s good. We like music that is good. We are based in Los Angeles, with an office in Washington DC, a favorite porch in Austin, Texas, and lots of friends in states in between. . We certainly

celebrate the many talented artists we know, and hope you support indie music with fervor and aplomb.

Friends! I will soon be back in CA, which means the AKS Hoblett tour begins! If YOU are in CA, and want a beautiful day amidst trees and nature, come to the Idyllwild Songwriters Festival this SATURDAY, SEPT 24. I'm thrilled to say that I'm headlining the shindig.
Lots of great acoustic music thru-out the day, it's kid friendly, and it's FREE!
I'll be the one wobbling 'round with a boot on my left foot, and not the cowboy kind.
But- can't wait to share some songs and see friends. See YOU there!
