This Sunday for Combat championship wrestling I will back at Looe Bay Holiday Park run by Parkdean Resorts to take on anyone who dares step in my way.

I've had a good run with the BCD Behind Closed Doors: Pro Wrestling Championship and before the BCD Management kick off... a reminder that any and all belts won or achieved by anyone associated with 'The System' belong to 'The System', not to the respected individuals.

This picture is titled: 'Blast from the Past!'

Back in the Plymouth Wrestling Alliance days, the new owners decided to create their own gimmick. A gimmick that they can only use. Now that promotion has changed, stuff sold or dumped in the refuge tip... something got reused and recycled.

Not sure how long 'The White Knight' has been active in the British Wrestling scene but seeing the old kit and that mask again brought back a few old memories.

Sunday 11th August I got to face the old gimmick from my past.

Combat Championship Wrestling are back at Looe Bay Holiday Park for another camp show extravaganza this afternoon. We are debuting local competitors and introducing up and coming stars from our training school.

LARPers Universe...

Meet 'Tor'... at the moment Tor appears at Fields of Illusion (FOI) with his son Dr Rusk.

There will be variants of this character popping up in other systems and 'Tor Eirson' will be making an appearance at Curious Pastimes Renewal in the Wolves Faction.

Currently at FOI, Tor is an Apprentice crafter and master lock picker through his engineering skill. Future plans are to move up the ranks in his crafting trades of Wepomsmith, Armoursmith and Alchemy. Tor is currently contracted by 'Logan' of the Celts and Tor currently holds the 'Anklebiters' treasury.

His variants across the LARP universe will primarily be crafting things to help the group of adventurers as a whole. Some variants may even dabble in healing like surgery or even healing based magic.

His favourite colour is green, his combat skills aren't the best but can defend and run away when the opportunity arises. Tor is friendly and tends to get along with everyone, happy to help others when asked.

This was taken at Fields of Illusion LARP game at the beginning of August 2024.

The man on the left is Carl Brough who plays 'Logan' of the Celts Faction. Obviously I'm the guy on the right and playing a variant of 'Tor' (which some of you will meet at CuPa).

Both our characters are crafters, Logan is superior in his skills where Tor is only at Apprentice level.

I can't remember the scenario on how we both ended up in the same pose but Peter captured it beautifully.

Next game for Fields of Illusion is in October.

2 shifts and a food shop to go... went to visit family to grab more bits so not a lot got done last night.

I'm lucky that I have a car taking me and the minion to Fields of Illusion so I'm able to take quite a bit with me. This lot pictured will have to be filtered through again depending on the chat I have with another family member regarding Curious Pastimes.

LARPing is a great hobby but takes up so much room!

Got 3 shifts and a physio appointment to attend this week then I'm off playing 'Tor' at Fields of Illusion.

So today is the start of putting all my schnanigins of LARP together as I prep me and my minion for Fields of Illusion.

They are playing a healer while I play the crafter.

Got a new awning and some windbreakers to test so that there is an option for an additional area for players to sit and chat in. If all goes well then I will be doing this later in the month too.

Now to sort kit!

Just now sat relaxing in front of the TV after a great afternoon of Wrestling at Looe Bay Holiday Park.

I beat the returning 'Draven' who some of you might remember from the LEP days here in the southwest.

Then unfortunately lost the tag match. Definitely not one of the best tag matches Uk dominator and I have had, seems we're on a losing streak.

Thank you again Combat championship wrestling for having me on board your team and can't wait to see where this rollercoaster takes us.

**Big Update**

We are really looking forward to putting on shows for you, the pro wrestling fans and followers, that we can't hold in our excitement. Even though we have a show booked on November 16th, we are looking at putting on a show before then, maybe a Halloween show???

OK...

I've read the article and I've read countless comments for and against this rule change for Curious Pastimes (CuPa).

I've read status updates that some won't be attending the game next year and are looking for their LARP fix elsewhere. I've read some comments that are up for these changes and how it is a great direction for the system.

Now most of you know I play an Orc in CuPa. I wear a full face mask, paint and costume to really make me stand out as this Orc race. I'm not fussy about the race skills I was able to obtain, I am more focused on being an awesome scout.

The best fun I've had this year was when almost the entire FC camp came marching in numbers to try and over run the Karavan because it was racial driven. If you know the background/story to this then it makes for good reading and reminiscing and to my knowledge, no one was offended OC!

Now I enjoy the high fantasy side to CuPa because even though I tend to switch off when it comes to main plot, my game is the interactions I have with my friends. A friend of mine who plays a Dark Elf dresses up with a wig and paints their face and really makes the effort to stand out from the crowd and enjoy the RP. We're currently going through our own story and can't wait to see where this ends up.

Its only a handful of us who go above and beyond to dress up but its a lot of fun to be able to achieve this. I have 2 characters backed up within the factions who may be severally affected by these rules changes.

If these new rules kick into full swing and I am unable to enjoy my RP as my Orc with the fellow Foulspawn that is the Karavan, with my Dark Elf friend to continue our little adventure or with my back up characters in the future then I will take my concepts elsewhere to be played out.

Even after reading all the material, I may have translated this all wrong and interrupted in a completely different light.

My point however is this; I will still attend CuPa for social company and groups I have got to know and trust. If I am unable to enjoy my time at CuPa with the characters I wish to play/play with because of this big rule change (or any other big changes in the future) then there are many other games that I can play.

I will continue going forward with an open mind and read what I can to get a better picture of these changes but we will see where this leads. Good look to all attending E3 this weekend but I look forward to Renewal.

322 days... no doubt BCD Behind Closed Doors: Pro Wrestling will make a massive announcement about it in due course.

My biggest rival and I; Uk dominator, managed to put our differences aside to reign supreme in Dorset. This isn't over yet, 'The System' will get those titles back soon. Till then, 'The Legion' have very big boots to fill.

Dom and I held those titles for 322 days... The first and longest running Tag Team Champions for BCD. I don't think any tag team will beat that record for a very long time.
