CONGRATULATIONS to - they are bound. My only gripe is that it shouldn't have taken this long! Kool & the Gang had been criminally underrated for the longest time. Not anymore. 🎶

I wish my cousin Freddie Fioto was alive to see this moment...

It's 's Opening Day today!

Raise one up for one of the greatest -- my Uncle Jimmy.

He fought valiantly in the war in Vietnam, built an amazing family and lived a very full life.

He taught me to drive fast ("life is too short to drive slow, Eddie"), have fun, eat until you're full and above all else -- SMILE and live life to the fullest!

We'd argue about politics at the polls. People would look on skeptically...then end it with a smile, a laugh and a hug.

Uncle Jimmy was THE life of the party at every gathering. He loved all of us, family, friends, and especially Duder. The first pic is from Duder's 2nd birthday this year where Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Ellie made the trek from Mays Landing to Philly to hang out in the cold for a few hours, always with a gift in hand for the little one. He and Aunt Ellie gave Duder his prized "Stinky and Dirty" toys.

I thank God he allowed Uncle Jimmy to be part of our lives for so long. It never feels long enough, but God called James Mangine home this past week.

I love you and miss you already Uncle Jimmy.

"Actor" is a bit of a stretch 😂

BUT...I did executive produce a short film called AUTO SHOP that made it into 3 Top 100 film festivals back in 2017 starring . And we did win "Best Character Development" at the 2017 that got me the invite to speak at the 2018 Imaginarium in Louisville, KY.

Damn that was a long time ago, now! If you ever have the chance to travel to support indie film -- TAKE IT 🎥🎬🎞️

Chuck & his wife Maureen ("Mo") were super nice & hilarious.

I don't get starstruck that much anymore, but meeting Charles Barkley in my neighborhood is pretty damn cool.

I remember Big Ed & the '93 Dodge Dakota. It didn't have air conditioning, but it did have a CD player. And one of the CDs he played all the time was "Gord's Gold" from Gordon Lightfoot.

Timeless music. Raising one up to a legend tonight.

I don't have "Gord's Gold" on vinyl, but "Summertime Dream" will do just fine on a night like tonight.
