Dromoscope's new edition is ready and it's the product of our precious collaboration with Elia Buletti's legendary Das Andere Selbst. 'Prepared Drums Vol.I' by Daniele De Santis (DE005/DAS32) is a fully hand made dubplate and it's technically out already since last January, when we have been presenting it during Drums Playing Drums mini-tour. We decided to release it in the most spontaneous way, on the road and close to the stage. But time for the web has finally come too...

Daniele De Santis e Tommaso Cappellato fondono due ricche e tra loro complementari visioni della batteria in un intimo dialogo strumentale immerso nelle profondità del linguaggio percussivo, alla ricerca delle sue origini ancestrali; rievocandone gli archetipi in un’intensa performance dai caratteri quasi ritualistici e psichedelici, il duo dà vita a complesse architetture acustiche e ad una densa costellazione di poliritmie. Nel giugno 2016 il visionario regista e audace ricercatore delle tradizioni musicali Vincent Moon ha accompagnato e filmato il duo in una singolare spedizione musicale nel padovano. Ne risulteranno un mediometraggio per la serie Petite Planetes ed un EP curato da De Santis stesso per Dromoscope Editions, entrambi in via di uscita nel corso del 2018.
