"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.
Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.
Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

Remember Buddy McDaniel going home last year with a family who owned a tow truck. Buddy loves riding in that truck when they get called out. Now he has just returned from a 3200 mile trip to Yellowstone and then the family took two of their cars to a car show where Mom says more people photographed Buddy than the cars. They did win a prize for their 1965 Mustang and Buddy thought the prize was for him. He has a great life.

Today on my way home from work I found this kid in the middle of the road. I looked to see if he belonged to anyone, if he had other dogs with him... Nothing... He was alone and crying non-stop. We went to the vet, he didn't have a chip and so I decided let's be a family! We came home and I put him to bed...He's sleeping so deep, calm and happy. His first photo happy... And I want many more to follow. Thank you for coming into my life! Animals choose us 💝

Today on my way home from work I found this kid in the middle of the road. I looked to see if he belonged to anyone, if he had other dogs with him... Nothing... He was alone and crying non-stop. We went to the vet, he didn't have a chip and so I decided let's be a family! We came home and I put him to bed...He's sleeping so deep, calm and happy. His first photo happy... And I want many more to follow. Thank you for coming into my life! Animals choose us.💝
