The Opioid Crisis In Combination With COVID-19 Has Created Many Challenges For Our Communities. Including, But Not Limited To: Increased Drug Usage, Overdoses, And A Rise In Infectious Diseases Like Hep C And HIV.

I Love That My City Is Close-knit. We Build One Another Up. I Live In A Community Where We Support The People And Places We Love. Together We All Can Fight Back Against Overdoes And Disease.

So Many Of Us Know Someone Who Has Struggled With Using Drugs, And We’ve Seen How Hard It Can Be To Stop. But Even When A Person Might Not Be Ready To Stop Using Drugs Entirely, That Doesn’t Mean They Deserve To Overdose Or Get A Life-Changing Disease Like HIV or Hep C. Harm Reduction Programs Help Decrease These Risks For People Who Use Drugs, Their Loved Ones, And Our Entire Community.

Infectious Diseases Like HIV And Hepatitis C Often Spread Through The Use Of Certain Drugs. So When Harm Reduction Programs Provide Safe Ways To Dispose Of Used Syringes, As Well As Access To New And Sterile Syringes, It Reduces The Potential For These Diseases To Spread In Our Communities.

Testing For Infectious Diseases Like HIV And Hep C Is A Harm Reduction Tool That Helps Communities Identify New Infections And Connects People To Care Before An Outbreak Can Spread. When Communities Have Consistent Access To This Kind Of Testing, It Prevents Outbreaks Instead Of Just Reacting To Outbreaks When They Happen.

I’ve Been A Die Hard Lakers Fan My Whole Life, So When I Saw The Game Was Falling On My Birthday, I Immediately Took That As A Sign To Go Ahead And Make LA My Annual Bday Trip. I Had Completely Different Plans But Those Will Happen Later Because I Just Wanted What I Wanted, Lol. To Be In The Building W/ Other Fans (I Realized My Screaming Is Normal) Was So Exciting! Double OT Was Super Intense & Just Wild To Me It Happened The One Random Time I Finally Decided To Go To The Staples Center (I’ve Traveled To LA Often) Didn’t End In Our Favor, But 🤷🏽‍♀️ Such A Memorable Birthday Experience 🏀💜💛

🎉🎊🎈Officially 12 Hours Until Jan. 12th … Less Than A Day Away 🤗 I Promise I’m Almost Done With These Pics 😅 But I Appreciate Y’all For Rocking W/ Me 🤗 Cali Bound Shortly ✈️ … If You Haven’t Guessed Yet, My Creative Vision Behind These Pics Were B’Day Album Which Is One Of My Faves And Most Listened To 💿 I So Did Not Want To Wear This Dress, Lol. Not Because I Didn’t Like It But It Wasn’t My First Choice. I 2 Day Shipped It From When I Saw My Original Look Wouldn’t Make It In Time. These Heels … Yeah Found Them Literally The Night Before My Shoot . I Told Myself If I Didn’t Find Any I Was Scrapping This Look, Lol (I Be Lying To Myself) … I Would’ve Taken These Pics Barefoot 🤣 And Last But Not Least My Night Was So Restless. Not Sure Why I Couldn’t Get To Sleep But Those Smaller Pink Balloons I Blew Up By Mouth (Never Again) At Like 6 AM 🥴 The Sun Was Coming Up 🙄 Photoshoot Was At 9:15 AM In Memphis … Had To Leave My House By 8:30 AM 🫠 It Was All Worth It Though. I Actually Got There Early (A First For Me) All I Ask For In My 30s Is For Me To Not Overthink And Just Be In The Moment. I’m Always Thinking Of What Can I Do Next Or What I Should Be Doing In The Meantime Instead Of Just Being Still & Being. Seize Every Moment. Go After Everything My Heart Desires & Continue Putting Myself First. I’m Writing This For My Own Reference ✍🏽 And For Anyone Struggling With The Same. I Make My Life Look Glamorous But Babyyyy It Takes A Lot To Make It Happen. … Now Let Me Get To This Airport 💋🛫🛬

Owww! Put Your Freekum Dress On! Every Woman Got 1! 😏 2 Days Until (January 12th) Y’all! This Has Been A Rough, But Amazing Ride. I Don’t Take Any Of It For Granted. Had Some Of My Worst Days Ever In My Twenties. Also A Lot Of Highs! Who Knows What My Thirties Will Bring But I’m Ready. Now More Than Ever. I Have No Choice 😂 The Journey To 30 Has Been Fun, Frightening, Exciting, Exhausting, But Worth It. I Take Flight Tomorrow For My Annual Birthday Trip And I’m Going To Have A Blast Per Usual. 🥳 👗👠💕
