Quartz is a game zine that has been published since 1979, initially as a postal games zine but has evolved over the years to now become an email based game zine although a few copies still go out by post when requested. Games run in the Quartz Family of zines include Anyways, Britannia, Breaking Away, Bus Boss, Cathedral, Chess (including 3 chess variants), Diplomacy (and variants), Mijnlieff, Ogr

e, Othello, Power Grid, Quintet, Railway Rivals, Scrabble, Snow Tails, Sopwith and Speed Circuit and currently has a 71 player game of By Almost popular Demand in progress. Other games are on the waiting lists as well as older postal games being readied to bring back. Besides the games, the zines also include quizzes and reviews as well as occasional articles on many different subjects, all put together by Geoff and his team of subzine editors and outside Gm's. Quartz currently goes out to approximately 250 players and readers around the world.
