CineMuseum LLC CineMuseum is a premier film and television production company specializing in award winning restora Paul E.

Gierucki is an award winning motion picture producer, director, historian, and preservationist. His works have appeared on the Arts and Entertainment Network (A&E), American Movie Classics (AMC), Cinemax, HBO, NBC, and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). As president of Laughsmith Entertainment, founded in 1992 with business partner William Hunt, he directed the A&E Biography program STOOGES: THE MEN BEH

IND THE MAYHEM, as well as the critically acclaimed DVD collections THE FORGOTTEN FILMS OF ROSCOE "FATTY" ARBUCKLE, and INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH KEATON. Gierucki has also contributed materials for over 40 books on Hollywood history, collaborated on numerous home video releases, documentaries, preservation projects, and he recently directed THE MACK SENNETT COLLECTION Volume One for CineMuseum. Brittany Valente is a veteran producer and the president of CineMuseum LLC. Miss Valente is a 2005 graduate of the Specs Howard School of Media Arts, and has worked in multiple aspects of film and video production during her time at the Grace and Wild HD Studios, Function Post, Laughsmith Entertainment, as well as her own independent productions produced through facilities in Detroit, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Her works are seen regularly on Turner Classic Movies. The Gierucki & Valente restorations have been showcased in prime time on Turner Classic Movies with hosts Robert Osbourne, Ben Mankiewicz, and screened at dozens of classic film festivals, conventions, and movie palaces around the world. Their award winning collaborations have been acclaimed by the likes of Leonard Maltin, The New York Times, TV Guide, Variety, USA Today, The New Yorker, and Newsweek Magazine.

The once lost Keystone short subject A THIEF CATCHER, featuring Charlie Chaplin's 4th film appearance, was released 110 years ago today! Rediscovered in 2010 by director Paul E. Gierucki, the film was restored by CineMuseum LLC and is once again available (via physical media and streaming) for all to enjoy.

In honor of National Silent Film Day, our own Paul E. Gierucki sat down for a rare interview with historian Chris Seguin for the Toronto SILENT FILM Festival's Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle show!

The virtual (online) screening starts at 7:30 PM (EST) on Thursday September 29th, and features the Gierucki / Seguin discussion, Roscoe Arbuckle's short subject LOVE (1919), and the feature length comedy, LEAP YEAR (1921).
