It’s Tuesday so it’s time for Blackwolves movies of the week, the movies we’re excited to see coming to theaters and streaming over the course of the next seven days. Starting off with the only Nationwide release this week, Marvel fans rejoice as “Thor: Love and Thunder” hits theaters Friday July 8th. Taika Waititi is back directing Chris Hemsworth and the gang through another test of saving the universe. Netflix is coming strong this week with three separate movies we’re excited about, two narrative and one doc. First up we have “Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between” a romance movie following a couple who have pledged to break up before college and take a trip down memory lane through all the moments that make them, them. Will they make it through unscathed or will their love cause this pact to be a bumpy one? Next up we have the animated family movie, “The Sea Beast”, from the director of “Moana” and “Big Hero 6” comes the story of a young girl who stows away on a sea monster hunting ship in order to go on the adventure of a lifetime. From Netflix’s documentary side comes “Girl in the Picture”, a crime doc about a thirty year mystery into a girl, her father and the identity she never knew. Limited releases we’re excited for this week are “Moon, 66 Questions” and “Dreaming Walls: Inside the Chelsea Hotel”. “Moon, 66 Questions” follows a daughter trying to connect with her father while dealing with his fragile health state while “Dreaming Walls: Inside the Chelsea Hotel” is a documentary telling the story of New York’s Chelsea Hotel and the artists who still call it home. Check out all these movies and let us know what you’re excited to see/what you think of any of them as they release, in the comments below

28/06/2022

It is Tuesday which means Blackwolves is back with our movies of the week, the movies we’re looking forward to releasing this week. Starting off with a movie coming out tomorrow on Netflix, “Beauty” follows its titular character as she attempts to navigate the music industry as a black woman after receiving a lucrative recording contract. All the rest of the movies this week release on Friday, starting with the nationwide release of “Minions: The Rise of Gru”, where the “Despicable Me” universe tells the story of how Gru became the super villain he is. On Hulu, Joey King’s “The Princess” premiers, the story of a princess saving herself from the man she’s meant to marry. In terms of limited releases this week we’re looking at narratives “Mr. Malcolm's List”, “The Forgiven”, “Sniper: The White Raven'' and documentary “Accepted”. “Mr. Malcom’s List” is a regency love story in the vein of “Bridgerton” and “Pride and Prejudice”, tricks are a foot, schemes are plotted but love may foil all. In “The Forgiven” while on vacation, a couple on the verge of divorce hits and kills a young man while driving to a villa causing massive repercussions in the lives of everyone involved. “Sniper: The White Raven” follows a Ukrainian pacifist who enlists in his country's army after the murder of his wife. Finally “Accepted” focuses a lens on T.M. Landry, an unconventional school known for sending it’s graduates to elite colleges. Check out all these movies this week and let us know what you think in the comments.
