Such interesting experience to sample different types of “Locally Inspired Eco-Cocktails of Malaysia” prepared by the hotels under Marriott Bonvoy 😋😋😋
A celebration of sustainability and local flavors, this initiative is part of the first-ever Sustainable Bartender Championship held by Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific Excluding China, which invites bartenders to submit creative cocktail creation entries centered around sustainability, local produce, and consumer engagement.
In collaboration with Pernod Ricard and KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin, the competition in Malaysia will run until 31 July 2024 and culminate in the Grand Finale in Singapore in October 2024, where the winner will be crowned Marriott International’s APEC Most Sustainable Bartender 2024.
My personal favourites would be Halia by and Ode To Max by . Featuring Absolut ELYX, elevated by Bentong ginger, lime, and apple, the cocktail Halia celebrates the vibrant flavours of Malaysia’s highlands. Inspired by Monkey 47 Dry Gin, the cocktail Ode To Max pays homage to Max the Monkey, the natural coconut harvester, featuring locally sourced ingredients like coconut, pandan, lime, and a hint of toasted fragrant rice.
Customers can also try out these “Locally Inspired Eco-Cocktails of Malaysia” that are available now until 31 July 2024, at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties throughout Malaysia.

What an amazing view of Lysefjord you can enjoy from the viewpoint at Høllesli 😍😍😍
The viewpoint is located along the Norwegian Scenic Route Ryfylke, close to the bridge to Forsand.

Finally went to try out Shake Shack at The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur. It is a beloved global fast-casual restaurant chain that started as a humble hot dog cart.
You must not miss a selection of signature items by Shake Shack Malaysia that have been exclusively crafted to celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Malaysia, such as the signature Bunga Raya city shake, inspired by the national flower of Malaysia, the Hibiscus, features Hibiscus jelly topped with vanilla frozen custard blended with dragon fruit and gula Melaka, topped with whipped cream, coconut crumble, and Melaka drizzle.
We also tried out the crowd-pleasing made-to-order favorites including the signature ShackBurger® made from fresh Angus beef that is free from antibiotics; Flat-Top Sausage, which uses imported beef, antibiotic-free Chicken Shack and Hot Chicken sandwiches, as well as the meat-free ‘Shroom Burger, crispy Crinkle-Cut Fries and a delightful assortment of Shakes and Frozen Custard.

This trip was short but good enough for me to experience some of London's most iconic landmarks and get a taste of its rich history and culture 😍😍😍
We witnessed the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, went to admire the stunning royal church Westminster Abbey that's steeped in history, and strolled through the beautiful parks and bustling streets... Such an exciting city to explore with so many things to see and to do!!

Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I was honoured to be one of the judges for CITTA Mall’s Family Fashion Fusion competition 🥰🥰🥰
Themed “Porcelain”, the competition was held on 18th May 2024 in conjunction with CITTA Mall’s Family Day Fiesta event, and it required contestants in pairs that consisted of one child and one adult.
It was hard for me to pick a winner as each of them showcased their fashion theme creatively. We need to judge according to the 4 categories - Self Introduction, Costume, Appearance, and Catwalk.
Champion : RM300 worth of cash and prizes
1st runner-up : RM200 worth of cash and prizes
2nd runner-up : RM100 worth of cash and prizes
Consolation (x5) : RM50 worth of prizes each
It was a day packed with fun experiences and memories as the Family Day Fiesta also featured other activities like Family 360 Photobooth, Running Man Challenge, Family Photoshoot, Family Photo Frame DIY Workshop, and Personalised Wishing Card Corner.

Checked out a new Korean restaurant at Desa Sri Hartamas with a few foodie friends over the weekend 😋😋😋
Run by Korean chef, Ttaengcho Buldak is known for their fiery fire-grilled spicy chicken and pork dishes. The meat is seasoned with special sauce before being grilled over high heat.
My personal favourite would be their Sweet Potato Cheese Spicy Chicken (RM65), a delicious explosion of flavours and textures. The sweet potato mousse offers a sweet counterpoint to the spiciness, its soft texture a beautiful contrast to the chicken. While the mozzarella cheese adds a rich and creamy element that binds everything together.
Priced at RM65 for 2 pax, Nakji Samgyeop (octopus and pork belly) Iron Plate is an ideal choice to indulge a Korean sizzling sensation. Guests can add on fried rice for RM10 or cheese for RM9, scoop everything into a bowl and give it a good mix to create your own bibimbap.
We also tried their Grilled Pork Intestines (RM65), Boneless Chicken Feet (RM65), and Stir Fried Squid (RM50). They also serve Lunch Set from 12 noon till 3 pm at very attractive prices.

It may seem nothing fancy about this restaurant but their varieties of soups are Confirm Sedap!!
I always pass by this restaurant because it is located near the entrance of LaLaport BBCC from the Hang Tuah Monorail Station’s connecting bridge at Level 1.
Decided to try their best sellers Nasi Sup Daging (RM15) and Mee Sup Kambing (RM18) for a quick lunch. The comforting soup was rich and packed with flavour, it gives a feeling of warmth and satisfaction that I like 😋😋😋
You can also order some side dishes like Terung Cili Padi, Kangkong Belacan, Ayam Rempah, and Telur Dadar to go with your nasi or mee.
Do try out their delicious foods if you are around the shopping mall, the prices are reasonable too for the generous portion.

Finally went to try out Shake Shack at The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur. It is a beloved global fast-casual restaurant chain that started as a humble hot dog cart. . Checked out a new Korean restaurant at Desa Sri Hartamas with a few foodie friends over the weekend 😋😋😋 . Run by Korean chef, Ttaengcho Buldak is known for their fiery fire-grilled spicy chicken and pork dishes. The meat is seasoned with special sauce before being grilled over high heat. . My personal favourite would be their Sweet Potato Cheese Spicy Chicken (RM65), a delicious explosion of flavours and textures. The sweet potato mousse offers a sweet counterpoint to the spiciness, its soft texture a beautiful contrast to the chicken. While the mozzarella cheese adds a rich and creamy element that binds everything together. . Priced at RM65 for 2 pax, Nakji Samgyeop (octopus and pork belly) Iron Plate is an ideal choice to indulge a Korean sizzling sensation. I always pass by this restaurant because it is located near the entrance of LaLaport BBCC from the Hang Tuah Monorail Station’s connecting bridge at Level 1. . Decided to try their best sellers Nasi Sup Daging (RM15) and Mee Sup Kambing (RM18) for a quick lunch.
