Just a quick update to say that all issues of Eight Bit #11 have been posted out. Those who haven't received theirs yet should receive them soon.

We are now working on getting the PC book and 50 Retro Experiences done in time for September.

Finally, we got a sample back from the printers that we are happy with. We are going over the final proofread this week...

Finally, we got a sample back from the printers that we are happy with. We are going over the final proofread this weekend and then to the printers first thing Monday morning.

As mentioned previously, the annual will be posted out on its own with Retro Format, Eight Bit and 40 Years of Gaming on the PC, to follow. That is to allow us to get the annual to you as soon as possible, without having to wait for the others.

For now, have a look at a few photos we've taken of the sample copy today. Following that, keep a watchful eye on the postman :-)

Due to the popularity of our Coding a Game in NextBASIC series, we are announcing a NextBASIC programming competition in the next issue of Eight Bit magazine.

The first place prize (cash prize, amount to be announced) will go to the best game that is playable on a standard Spectrum Next and will be judged by multiple people to decide the winner of the cash prize. There will also be 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
