I am furious and heartbroken over the tragic death of Sonya Massey, who was shot and killed by a police officer in Illinois. In the video (link below), Sonya says, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus." The officer, shockingly, responds with, "I swear to God I will shoot you in the face," and then he did, multiple times, without hesitation.

This officer clearly woke up that day with a mission to take down an innocent Black person, and he did so in the most brutal way. Shots to the face?! It’s beyond insane and sickening to witness those who are sworn to protect and serve gunning our people down like animals.

I hope and pray that this man never sees the light of day again. My heart aches for Sonya's children and family. We must seek justice for Sonya and all the innocent lives lost to such senseless violence. Disgusted!🤬

It is wild how time flies and we watch our children go from an innocent dependent baby to a beautiful independent adult. Just WOW! 21 years ago I was blessed to give birth (by way of slaughter to the abdomen lol) to this lovely young lady who I would love you all to recognize with us today. She is super spoiled thanks to Jason L Jones because that's what dads do. She is super strong and super awesome. Love you Laina Blank. Happy 21st Birthday!
