A three-alarm fire burned down a San Bernardino Church Monday afternoon. Dozens of fire personnel responded to the fire at 9th and N. F streets at 3:12pm.

The Line fire has exploded in size forcing evacuations in Running Springs and adjacent mountain communities. Highway 330 is closed and traffic has been jammed on Highway 18.

The Line Fire exploded in size Saturday afternoon. Erratic winds pushed the fire up the mountain causing it to jump Highway 330 in multiple locations.

San Bernardino County District Attorney has charged Noe Armando Banuelos with the following:

Count 1 – 191.5(a)– Felony Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated
Count 2 – VC20002(b) – Felony Hit and Run Driving Resulting in Death
Count 3 – PC836.6(b) – Misdemeanor Escape from Arrest

He is also a previous convicted felon for burglary in Los Angeles County.

The suspect from the deadly pursuit in Rancho Cucamonga escaped Wednesday evening from Arrowhead Hospital after being taken there for injuries.

CAL FIRE put the first of seven C-130 firefighting aircraft into service today. The aircraft has a capability of carrying 4,000 gallons of fire retardant and can fly 800-miles fully loaded.
