Ganz im Geiste der Do-it-yourself-Kultur beschlossen die Düsseldorfer Musiker Chris Bauer und Susan Bauszat die Suche nach einem geeigneten Label für ihre Band EARLY AUTUMN BREAK abzukürzen und kurzerhand ihr eigenes Label ONE SUNNY DAY RECORDINGS zu gründen. Seit dem Startschuss 2010 ist das Label zu einer Familie befreundeter Bands und talentierter Musiker herangewachsen, die auf diese Weise una
bhängig vom großen Musikrummelplatz ihre Werke präsentieren.
2013 gab es neben "Farewell To The Juvenile Heart Volume 1", dem dritten Album der Folkrocker EARLY AUTUMN BREAK, die erste Veröffentlichung der RIVIERA BROTHERS: "From A Box" mit feinstem 60ies Retro-Mod-Pop.
2014 konnte mit gleich drei Releases aufwarten: das Debütalbum “Recipes” der Progressive-Indie Formation ANY OF BOTH, der Erstling “In Color” der Alternative Rock/Synth-Pop Band HILL MYNA, sowie dem Solo Album von RIVIERA BROTHER’s Mastermind ROLAND WOLFF “Feels So Easy Yeah!”. Auch 2016 wird es einige Überraschungen geben: so werden die Kölner Elektro-Krautrocker von RAUTE das Portfolio von ONE SUNNY DAY RECORDINGS mit ihrer ersten EP erweitern. Und im Juni das erste Soloalbum von FRANK SCHMIECHEN (Go-Betweens)!!! ONE SUNNY DAY RECORDINGS bleibt auch weiterhin ein Garant für Qualitätsmusik “Made in Germany”

Very much in the spirit of the Do-It-Yourself-Culture, the Duesseldorf based musicians Chris Bauer and Susan Bauszat decided to shorten their search for an adequate label to release the music of their band EARLY AUTUMN BREAK by founding their own label ONE SUNNY DAY RECORDINGS in 2010. Since then the label has been growing up to a family of good-friend-bands and talented musicians who in this way are able to present their creative work independent of the vast music-business-playground. Apart from “Farewell To The Juvenile Heart Volume 1″, the third album from the folkrocking EARLY AUTUMN BREAK, in 2013, there was also the RIVIERA BROTHER’s first release “From A Box”, featuring 60ies retro-mod-pop at its best.
2014 saw three releases: the debut album “Recipes” by the progressive-indie-outfit ANY OF BOTH, the first album “In Color” by alternative rock/synth-pop band HILL MYNA, as well as the solo album by RIVIERA BROTHER’ s mastermind ROLAND WOLFF “Feels So Easy Yeah!”. In 2016 the Electro-Krautrockers RAUTE will be the newest addition to our catalogue with their first EP. And we will finally see the long awaited release of EARLY AUTUMN BREAK’s follow-up “Farewell To The Juvenile Heart Volume 2″. And in June: the first solo album of FRANK SCHMIECHEN (GO-BETWEENS)!!! ONE SUNNY DAY RECORDINGS – a moniker for quality music “Made in Germany”. Releases:
