On the 20th of July 1988, the body of Diana Maw was found outside her flat in Ealing, London. She had been killed using a crossbow small enough to fit inside someone’s coat. Many odd aspects would be revealed about her case as well as a discussion we are still having today about regulations surrounding crossbows.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the lack of episode this week! I will be taking my break for the podcast early just as I have so much work on I couldn’t do the episode I had planned justice and give it enough of my time. I want every episode to be as good and as well researched as possible and this wouldn’t be fair.

I will be back after my summer break hopefully a bit more refreshed and organised! Thank you for working with me for the last few weeks where my schedule has been a bit more erratic.

Patricia Lashley was reported missing in June 1999 having last been seen in Dudley, West Midlands in September 1998. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Beverley Trendall was found murdered in her flat in Northolt in West London in November 1984. She hadn’t been heard from since Halloween. Despite an investigation at the time, her case is still unsolved.

Frederick and Miriam Dunkley were murdered in their home on the 23rd of January 1989 in Alperton, Wembley. Despite a trial with little evidence there was no conviction and their murders remain unsolved.

On April the 12th 2002, 71 year old Les Bate left the Maltsters arms in Chapel Amble in North Cornwall. He travelled back to the farm in which he lived and was later found murdered in his own home.

On the 7th of September 1974, Tom Hewitt was working in his garage in Bright Street in Bury when he was brutally attacked and killed. His murder is still unsolved along with the mystery of why someone would want to do this.

In the early hours of the 14th August 1982, John Singh Landa was driving his taxi in Nottingham. He picked up a fare to take him back home and he was brutally stabbed to death.

On the 27th of August 2020, bin bags were found floating in the River Stour in Sudbury. Human bones were found in them and the man who they belonged to had been dismembered. The Sudbury man as he came to be known is still unidentified.

On January 13th 1978, 52 year old Beryl Culverwell was found murdered in her locked garage in the city of Bath. No motive was ever found for her murder and it is still unsolved.
