FORM Issue XX
Issue XX is a landmark in FORM’s history, embracing the publication’s role as a space for ideas, culture, and aesthetics. We are pleased to share this issue with you, now available online at https://www.dukeform.co/archives/
FORM Presents: Nexus
Nexus, FORM’s latest visual project, explores the relationship between diverse modes of artistic expression from painting and sculpture to music and dance. The video thus meditates on the concept of creativity and the necessity of dialogue in realising it. Nexus was filmed at the Solidary & Solitary exhibition at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University.
We would like to give special thanks to all the organisations and collaborators that made this production possible, including Hunter Stark, The Rival Duke, Defining Movement, Duke Ballet Company, Nakisai African Dance Ensemble, Apartment X, DUU Freewater Productions and Nasher MUSE.
We would like to acknowledge Charles Riley's (aka Lil Buck) performance at the Fondation Louis Vuitton as the main inspiration behind this project.
