Just time, space, and our little girl leading the way 🏔️🌦️

We hired a car, stayed in one place, and explored the Bavarian Alps at our own pace.

No strict plans, no pressure to squeeze it all in — just slow mornings, scenic drives, and toddler-led adventures.

(And for the record… I left the mountain driving to my husband. I stuck to snacks, directions, and toddler entertainment — a much safer option for everyone involved!)

She ran through fields with mountains in the distance.
Stopped at every stream.

Carried her little bucket to the edge of the lake over and over again.

It was full-on at times (as travelling with a toddler always is), but it felt so good to just be there.

To actually enjoy it, without rushing from one thing to the next.

A few years ago, this kind of trip would’ve looked very different.

I would’ve been frantically checking how many days of annual leave I had left…

Planning everything down to the hour to make sure we ‘made the most of it’

And returning home already dreading the work inbox waiting for me.

But life’s changed.

Now there’s more space.
To travel how we want to.
To stay longer if we feel like it.
To take the day as it comes.

This wasn’t just a holiday — it was a reminder of how far we’ve come.

And why we chose this path in the first place.

But I Don’t Know Enough…

Ever had that thought?

Portugal memories 🤍 Our little slice of slow life ☀️

Slow mornings, sleepy beach walks, and one very happy toddler with her bucket and spade.

We kept things simple, but this trip felt like everything we needed.

A little reminder that memories don’t have to come from big plans or expensive resorts.

Sometimes the most special moments are the quiet ones—when you’re fully present with the people you love.

Grateful for this season of life, where freedom looks like weekday getaways, long naps in the sun, and watching Lyra explore the world at her own pace.

And if this kind of slow, present living feels far off for you right now—just know there is another way. I had no idea what that looked like at first, but I’m so glad I was open to finding out.🫶🏽

We got our holiday photos back… and as soon as I opened the gallery, I couldn’t help but smile with excitement.

Lyra was glowing. Tinu and I looked genuinely happy. Not the forced kind of happy you smile for — but that real, present, nothing-else-matters kind of happy.

And in that moment, it hit me — this is what I’ve been working towards.
Not just a holiday. Not just nice pictures. But more of this feeling.

Lyra has always been a little explorer — whether we’ve been by the sea, in the countryside, or just a new town, she’s always lit up with joy. She doesn’t care where we are — as long as we’re together, having fun, she’s happy.

And it puts everything into perspective.

This is why I started my business.

To create a life where we’re not squeezing in memories between work schedules.

To have time on our side.

To be able to travel when we want to.

To build something that puts family first — not just in words, but in reality.

It hasn’t been perfect. There have been messy moments, self-doubt, and days where I wondered if I was doing the right thing.

But I always came back to this one truth:
I’m doing this for us.

And now, every time I see Lyra laughing, every time we slow down and enjoy time as a family — I know it’s working. We’re getting closer to that life I once only dreamed of.

There’s never going to be the perfect time.
Life will always be life — busy, unpredictable, full of ups and downs.

But that’s what makes everyone’s journey so unique.

And for me, it’s always been about building a life that feels good — one with more presence, more freedom, and more memories like this.

This isn’t just about a holiday — it’s about building a life where moments like these happen every day.
A life where we don’t have to squeeze memories between work hours, but create them whenever we choose.

I’m Not the Kind of Person Who Can Do This

Have you ever looked at people running their own online businesses and thought…

“That’s great for them, but I could never do that.”

We’ve been taught to put ourselves in boxes. To believe that success is only for certain kinds of people—extroverts, business-minded people, risk-takers.

For 10 years, I watched colleagues come and go, all of us asking the same question—“Is this really it?” We’d talk about what else we could do, but nothing ever seemed like a real option.

I was one of the lucky ones—I actually loved my job. I had an amazing career in property photography and a boss who understood that life wasn’t just about work. But then I became a mum. And suddenly, my priorities shifted in a way I never could’ve imagined.

Because here’s the thing… when it’s just you, working long hours is manageable. Giving your energy to a job is fine. But when you have a baby in your arms, staring up at you with those big, trusting eyes? Suddenly, the thought of missing anything feels unbearable.

I didn’t want to be rushing out the door, leaving her behind. I didn’t want to be checking my phone at work, wondering if she was okay. I didn’t want to be exhausted every evening, giving her the tired, worn-out version of me.

But what was the alternative? Most businesses require a huge investment, years of training, or working even more hours just to break even. And another job? That’s just swapping one set of limitations for another.

I knew I needed something different. Something online. Something flexible. But where do you even start?

I looked at everything—drop shipping, trading, low-ticket sales, travel businesses. Nothing ticked all the boxes. Until I found this.

A business with purpose. A product that actually helps people. A compensation plan that properly rewards your efforts. And most importantly? A community of mums like me, proving every day that it is possible.

Now, a year in? I’m making money. I’ve built real friendships. And most importantly, I’ve created something that works around my life—not the other way around.
