The CD was widely received in both the United States and overseas and debuted at the #1 on CD Baby in both the Urban/R&B: Deep Funk and Jazz: Jazz-Funk categories. Deity Records is known for its series of groundbreaking, trademarked fusion of various music genres such as Jazz, Funk, Soul, R&B, Gospel, Classical, Rock, Blues, East Indian, Afro-Cuban, African, and World Music. Deity Records is a haven for independent artists. We believe that an artist should have the freedom to release and utilized their God given gifts of music, without the constraints encountered with large record labels. Deity Records believes that music is the equalizing factor where there is no color, no racism, no hatred, only love. Perseverance is the base that tears down all obstacles and moves one forward. Faith in God provides the glue that holds everything together.
