Santa Marta, Colombia.
We stayed at Playa Rodadero, a beach town 10 minutes away from Santa Marta. When we booked to stay here we had no idea that this is the place Colombian families come to holiday, it was AMAZING! It felt like everyday was a party on the beach, so much fun. We also explored Santa Marta and did a local hike to find Playa Inca Inca.

We explored Wadi Shab, located in Oman, it was one of the most beautiful places weâve been. We had to hike, wade and swim to the end, where an incredible waterfall is inside a cave.

I donât have any photos of us swimming as we had to leave all our things on a rock and only take what was waterproof, I just couldnât believe that Oman is so safe that it was completely fine to leave phones, room keys etc.

We visit the beautiful Wahiba Sands, a Bedouin home, have dinner at a restaurant with family rooms and see traditional Omani sailboats being built.
Oman is a beautiful country, we did not expect to love it so much. We highly recommend hiring a car and doing a road trip around this country, you wonât regret it!

We visit an Oasis in the mountains (Misfat), Jabreen Castle and Bahla fort. It took us so long to to put this vlog together as we had so much amazing footage. Again, Oman is really like stepping into a fairytale. â¤ď¸

Would you walk around Cairo at night?
We did and LOVED it!
The owner of the apartment we stayed in invited us on a walk with him around Cairo, to see the real Cairo, only where the locals go. Weâre so glad he did!

We hired bikes in Luxor, Egypt as we wanted a cheap way to really see the city, we even cycled to Valley of the Kings! It was so much fun, Ollie loved it too. đ˛

We climbed Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock with 24 hours. đި
We climbed Pidurangala rock at sunset so we could take in the true beauty of Sigiriya before climbing it the following morning. The climb up was much harder than Sigiriya with lots of climbing up and over rocks and squeezing between rocks. The climb was worth it though as the view from the top was absolutely incredicle. Ollie climbed nearly the whole way, we couldnât believe it, he loves to climb and be a little adventurer.
The next morning we got up and headed to Sigiriya at 4:30am to make it up for Sunrise. This time Joe carried Ollie in the sling as it was such an early start for him. The rock is 180 meters high and there is 1200 steps to climb, it does feel intense climbing up but we did it in roughly 20 minutes. Not only is there an incredicle view from the top but there is also palace ruins to explore. Ollie loved exploring the ruins, it was amazing wondering around.

Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka đąđ°
This ancient city ruins is apart of the Cultural Triangle but doesnât appear to be on the tourist trail and we arenât sure why. We had the ruins to ourselves for the morning and it was absolutely beautiful. If you visit Sri Lanka this is a place you should definitely see, itâs only an hour away from Sigiriya. We did not expect to love Oman so much. Everywhere you look is incredible scenery. This morning we explored Muttrah and climbed to the top of the Fort, Ollieâs favourite thing to do. He especially loved to cool his belly down in the Air Conditioning unit đ¤Ł

Ollie got to meet and feed Spark the Tapir at the Belize Zoo. We were blown away by the work the Belize do. All of the animals at the zoo were once pets, injured and unable to live in the wild or a risk to the community. All of the enclosures were made to replicate their natural environment as much as possible. On our last day in Oaxaca we walked past the church and saw lots of people outside ready to celebrate.
