Gin Blossoms launched their summer headline tour on August 1st in Oshkosh, WI. It's set to run through August 24th in Essex Junction, VT. The band brought along Toad the Wet Sprocket and Vertical Horizon for all dates on the tour. Old Crow Medicine Show has had a busy year. They started out 2024 with a nomination for "Best Folk Album" at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. They're finishing up the year on The Jubilee Tour. We were excited to catch Old Crow Medicine Show on August 9th at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, NC. The band played that night as support for Hank Williams Jr's "45 Years of Family Tradition" tour. Old Crow Medicine Show had no problems capturing the audience with a very enthusiastic set. We're posting this to bring awareness to our followers in Raleigh, NC and the surrounding area. The Red Hat Amphitheater is one of our favorite venues to go to, not only to cover shows but also as a fan. The staff and security there are top notch. The venue always has amazing sound and it has a really good vibe to it. The plan was to move the venue over and rebuild a bigger and better venue. Now, it seems that the venue is in risk of closing forever! Please take 5 minutes to read this article and send a note to the Raleigh City Council members who are on the fence about this. We're trying to spread the word because so many people do not have a clue what is going on. Help us save this amazing venue and help live music stay in downtown Raleigh, NC.
