Hi! It's Rhonda. 👋🏾

I've shared my love for libraries many times on this platform, which is why when I release my book tour schedule, libraries are always on the schedule. So, you can just imagine how unbelievably excited I was when my publisher told me I was going to the American Library Association Conference in San Diego with BITTER and SWEET. And then how shocked I was to learn that I would be speaking on stage (by myself) about a topic I'm passionate about. My teeth are chattering on the "by myself" part, but I'm going to bring the fire in my belly.

I know a few librarians follow me. I hope to see some of you there. Stop by the Hoopla booth at 10 am. I'll be signing BITTER and SWEET there also.

Vanessa here, and I don’t know where to begin—maybe that’s why I rewrite the beginnings of every book twenty-zillion times. But with the help of Lady Worthing, we’ve found a way to combine my love of mystery, sisterhood, intrigue, morally gray gratification, Agatha Christie-style cozy murders, and history.

Thank you, Georgia Writers, for selecting me as Author of the Year in the Detective/Mystery category. It’s a great honor.

I'm incredibly grateful to be on this journey: for the editors who see the visions, my lovely agent, My Sarah who gives enough room to stretch my wings, the dear friends who offer encouragement and inspiration, the readers who've given me the opportunity to share my stories.

I’m so glad to be home after spending time with family on a vacation that included seven plane rides and three countries. It was awesome. OK, I’m gonna get some rest and then I’m going to finish up my work for the month so I can give you some good stuff to read. Y’all pray for me in Jesus name amen.

About the book:

Two sisters at a crossroad in life find the answers to their problems in the lessons from the past…

All glammed up in Hollywood promoting Sense and Sensibility to Emmy voters! Hoping for nods for hair and costuming—Kim Kimble and Kara Saun are magnificent. Huge thanks to Tia A. Smith, our amazing EVP, for keeping us focused.

Being a historian on this film was a pleasure. We highlighted the hidden richness of people of color in the Regency era. This was a labor of love: 65 custom costume pieces, hundreds of wigs, and so much passion. Thank you, Toni Judkins, for putting the team together.
